Overcoming 1 or 2 bad calls is one thing.. Overcoming the other guy being able to completely ignore the rules for 60 snaps is a whole nother ball o wax. The former is part of every game.. the latter absolutely is not.
"for 60 snaps" You actually typed that. Okay.

I’ll go out on a limb . Ravens Giants & Steelers all Winable games . If possible 4-1 puts this Nawlins game in the rear view mirror .

Do you see the OL pull back on him to make him take that dipping action? I know his leg direction changed at the same time so it can only be 1 of those 2 things.
Did you see the DB throw his arm across Tolbert's chest on the play I referenced? Did you see the DB almost tackle CeeDee on the PI flag that was picked up? Asking for a friend.

What's really annoying is those who argue that "good teams overcome the refs." While that might be true to some extent the talent differential in the NFL is paper thin so one sided calls can absolutely turn the tide and once turned you got one team playing with supreme confidence while the other is scratching their heads.. At that point the damage is done.. I guarantee you if the Cowboys and Saints played 10 times it might be a 5-5 split. The teams are not that far apart.. The fact that the refs found their flags on Cowboys big plays and kept them hidden on the Saints was more than enough to turn this game into what it was... a total beatdown.
To see more than one play there dbs not looking back for the ball and going through our WR with no flag was frustrating. The one handed contested catch by Tolbert was sweet. But the defender never looked back to find the ball and was no flag. But we had a close one that our defender got there slightly early and they threw the flag.

Then later a pass to Lamb in the endzone and defender never looked back. He had a catch and another defender came in and hit him helmet to helmet. Straight in the head and broke it up. I just knew they would throw the flags there. Should have been multiple flags. And no flag. I was so pissed when they were allowed to walk away and flex like they made a great play. More than one play they walked away flexing and I was getting even more mad with each play like that. We got beaten down but the refs helping made the loss worse.

It was a good catch.

Made up for the crappy play on the ball earlier on the one that Mathieu broke up.

Jeebus you guys. Take a good thread and turn it in a bad ref crapfest.

Tolbert did great. No question he is worthy of being a WR3 and next year could be the WR2 for the Cowboys.

I think Jalen Brooks has potential and would dress both Flournoy and Brooks and inactivate the 3rd TE fascination this coaching staff has especially when Leupke is supposedly TE ready and collecting game checks for doing nothing much .

If you notice Nawlins has several deep bomb options and is going for the throat every series while Dallas has the FB and 3rd TE option . The idea is to get the ball in the end zone not watch Aubry play soccer .

Are you trying to change the subject? I asked for video and he posted one. If you have videos on those, I will comment. The ball to CeeDee was so out of bounds that uncatchable was the first thing I thought of.

I wouldn't crown him anything for 1 good catch on a vastly underthrown ball. People talking about WR2 are nuts. I still like Brooks better.

I mentioned this in another thread but it deserves its own. That catch on the longball was ridiculous. DB draped all over him straight up interfering and he comes down with it. He had a step on the DB and when Dak didn't get enough on it came back to the ball. That was bigtime. We might be seeing the emergence of a longtime #2 to CeeDee. Like Drew Pearson and Tony Hill.
Let's let Dak learn to get the ball to CD first, but hopefully Dak starts learning some timing and proper ball placement, can't teach arm strength so if he lost that as well, then we are truly stuck in the mud for the foreseeable future.

Looks like a textbook hold to me. I saw it soon as it happened. I’ve literally seen that flagged all day yesterday.

Why would he miss arm strength at 31 years old?

4th & 15 Chiefs need a completion to get in FG range to try and win game against Cincy and goodness a PI flag flies . When you’ve won 3 recent SB everything seems to roll into place

I thought that Tolbert and Schoonmaker had good games.
