Elliott. Take advantage of the best OL in the NFL. Dominate TOP. Keep Romo upright. Keep our defense on the sideline (making them fresh at the end of games).

With Elliott in tow we will pick up from where we left off in 2014. Elliott and Morris would be the best 1-2 punch in years too. I could see a lot of tired DLs this year if we draft this kid.

I love the way you think. Sadly the Cowboys probably won't see it our way. We haven't had any success in 20 years. 2014 was our best shot and it was all by luck. Amazing oline AND anazing rb behind it. We kicked butt, then they let Murrau walk and we went to crap.

It really is looking like

Wentz/Goff
Goff/Wentz
Tunsil

Top 3.

I think it means we go jalen Ramsey

Don't rule out Elliott

I still don't understand why anyone thinks this team would spend a top 4 pick on a RB. They wouldn't even spend money to resign a RB that rushed for 1,800 yards the year prior.

I'd be really really surprise if they took Zeke at 8.

Murray was, what, 27 years-old coming off a season with 392 carries? Zeke, on the other hand is only 20 years-old.

They wanted Murray back - at their price range. Not at the ridiculous contract the Eagles gave him.

Maybe some think he is, I don't think so.

I'm also concerned about his partying, and his absolutely ridiculous behavior following the Michigan State game.

All kids party in college. His comments after Michigan State game were spot on. Buckeyes should have run the ball more.

And as we saw the Spartans choke vs Bama, it's clear the Buckeyes should have been in that title game.

A lot of sources say he didn't interview well, and your teammates dogging you to prospective teams doesn't look good for you.

OSU didn't run the ball more because Elliot was averaging less than 3 yards a carry. Instead of throwing a temper tantrum and taking to Twitterverse calling out one of the most respected coaches in the NCAA, maybe he should have taken some responsibility.

He could have tempered his comments and he never should have taken to Twitter. That's a maturity issue. He's only 20. Hopefully he'd mature being around players like Witt, Romo and Alfred Morris (high character guy) going forward.

Can you elaborate? (I don't really follow college ball very closely)

Very curious what he said/did.

Good lord.

Some of you guys are truly insufferable.

I'm perfectly cool with being critical of the team and discussing their faults, but on that same token, at least give credit where credit is due. Attributing an ENTIRE season, which included 12 wins, 1 playoff win, and a near conference championship appearance to "all by luck" is plain dumb.

Yes, that tends to happens when when you go 20 years with nothing. There has been a whole lot of "dumb" from the FO of this organization of the last 2 decades.

Good point. We have had 2 decades of virtually no success for a reason. Leadership and direction comes from the top.

Right.

But it's okay to give them credit for the things that they have gotten right, regardless of whether it outweighs the bad or not.

Otherwise you wind up just sounding like a butt hurt complainer.

But you don't mind Bosa smoking pot? Because you're on record wanting him.

Meyer is one of the most successful coaches, but I don't know that he's one of the most respected. Certainly not for the way he recruits and the issues that his players have had.

Actually, I said I wouldn't mind him if both QB's and Ramsey were off the board.

And no, I'm not really that cool with it given the knuckleheads on defense already. However, there's a big difference between a guy just smoking, and a guy who smokes and also feels he has the right to call out coaches over his own poor performance.

On the flip side when the other team does get back on the field their QB will throw 40yd td bombs because we can't cover. I understand wanting Elliot but i'd prefer Ramsey.
