If you could have one QB next year in the draft?

Brady Quinn for several reasons.

First of all I want to say I could care less how he plays the rest of the season. He is the best pro prospect at QB. That includes you too Drew Stanton.

2nd of all hes had two years under Charlie Weiss. That a plus in my mind for any QB.

3rd hes familiar with the terminology of our team. It would be about as easy of a transition to the NFL as he could possibly ask for.

That bein said im not 100% sold on him but im a lot more sold on him than anyone else.

Also Troy Smith = Seneca Wallace on a good team.

Seneca Wallace might even be more talented than him.

Except for one play yesterday, Smith was very ordinary. (12-22 115 yds 1 TD 2 Int) Better play better next week @ Iowa.

Yeah but that one play was pretty extraordinary.

He had a off week no doubt but they won and that's all that counts.

You're right thought next week has to be better.

that is hysterical.

Considering you made it obvious you've never seen the guy play per your previous post, I'm not sure how you have any dog in this fight.

well lets see i'm a penn state season ticket holder and avid big 10 football fan.

i've seen more than enough of Stanton to know that the guy is a mediocre football player.

they went 1-7 down the stretch last year and a lot of it was because of him.

He isn't good.

I don't get the anti-Stanton thing.

School record for completion percentage at 65.7%.

So for being a big 10 season holder, you sure aren't paying a whole lot of attention.

Last year he went 66% and 22/12 TD/INT ratio.

Hasn't thrown for under 64% for a season going all the way back to HS.

Strong arm, he can run, smart, leader, tough.

Covered kicks while he was a back-up and was damn good at it.

Academic All Big Ten.

Kid's got the resume BP, JJ and Ireland would love.

So does Quinn.

We wouldn't pass on either for one or a couple of bad games.

a couple?

its the story of his life.

i've seen him against penn state needing a win to become bowl eligible the last 2 years and completely lay an egg. absolutely awful.

whoopie he completed 64% of his passes against penn state last year and he also threw 4 interceptions.

they went 1-7 down the stretch and he threw 9 interceptions and was sacked 19 times.

i want no part of drew stanton cause it won't surprise me in the least to see him completely fall apart after last nights disaster.

Jordan Palmer. See sig...

SilverBear, I live in the Northeast about 5 minutes from Andress!

He's Donovan McNabb, with more mobility and better accuracy

Uh oh, that's the kiss of death for a QB. HH31 isn't known as an eye for QB talent. Sorry to bring it up again, but does anybody remember this gem?

1: Obsession duley noted

2: Cincinatti signed him to the practice squad, where he is running the scout team as a QB. They had activated him as the third string QB this past week, but an injury derailed it.

I'm just busting your chops.

But seriously, when does A&M start playing some tough games?
