Invade Redsk*ns Training Camp!

You can't compare going to a internet forum & going to a training camp. Clicking on a website is hardly an effort compared to actually organizing people to drive out in the heat & humidity to watch a team you don't like practice for a long period of time. Hours > Minutes. I don't see how Moss is contradicting himself.

forget the time and distance, and it's pretty much the same idea, in fact, it's identical

A Cowboy fan making fat jokes? Dallas is the 5th FATTEST city in the country! In fact 40% of the top ten obese cities in the U.S are in Texas.
You would be wrong in that assumption...

Don't know why some of you are bothered about some cowboy fans going to see the Skins TC. I pass by the Texans TC every day...since it's held smack dab in the middle of the city. When you thirsting for football, anything is better than nothing.

speaking of monkey pictures, I saw one on a card, of a monkey doing the *** sign, not the middle finger, but the one where you curl your arm into your fist, was wondering if you've ever seen it, and know where I can find it on the Internet, it is hilarious

Why would you forget the time & distance? I think that's a factor in comparison. That just shows that someone has more of an obsession if they go to more trouble. Are you saying that driving out someplace to stand in humidity is the same as logging into your computer quickly from home or work?

Training camp is free and their was only 1 year where there was a charge. Definitly a mistake, which he learned from. I'm sure Jerry Jones never made a mistake.

Haha, are they going to charge for parking like the $25 shot that they did for "Fan appreciation day?" :lmao: :redwhine:

no, but it's easier than making the 3,000 mile trip to California for those of us who live in VA, MD, and PA, and are starving for any sort of football

Seeing football > Talking about football.

This is not a difficult concept, Norman.

Really don't have an issue with cowboy fans attending training camp, as long as they are respectful of the environment (many families come to these events) and don't act like Philthy fans. I understand the need to see any football at this point, as I am currently going out of my mind (luckily we have a scrimmage against b'more next week). As for scouting, I am sure you can scout the players no problem, but it will be difficult to scout the actual teams. Gibbs is known for not revealing much in the public training camp, and it is more drills than anything. I have been going to training camp for years (mile from my house) and I have never seen them running anything from their playbook. Again, all I ask is that you are respectful of the people that are there. There is plenty of time for "talk" during the regular season.

Nice post.

But please, all of you stop with the "scouting" business. Enough is enough.

good post, but why do you guys keep on acting like Gibbs is the only coach who doesn't reveal much in TC? BP is probably the most secretive coach in the NFL, he gags his assistant coaches for christsakes

Wrong about fat Texas cities?

http://www.ediets.com/news/article.cfm/cmi_367303/cid_1
lists Dallas as #5 & 40% of Texas cities in top 10.

http://www.fitcommerce.com/Blueprint/Module/Desktop/Announcements/ViewAnnouncement.aspx?ItemID=958&mid=112&portalId=2&cid=112
Lists Dallas as #4 & 30% of Texas cities in top 10. (San Anto & Ft Worth at #12 & #13)

I don't know why Skins fans would be upset about Boys fans attending TC either.

For those who may be slow.....or mentally challenged...

THE SCOUTING THING WAS A JOKE

I realize this may be a difficult thing to comprehend for some. But after numerous explanations, the failure to understand it surprises me. If you still need further explanation, I suggest one of two things. Either quit posting here......or give up on life.

I am personally hoping for the latter.

But its your decision.

note to self: not all Cowboy fans hail from Dallas, or even Texas for that matter

I'm aware of that, but I think HeavyHitter needs to be aware of the city his favorite team represents, his joke pertains to large percentage of the population there.

What area of the world do you hail from my friend?

Now, for part 2 of Mythbusters....

There is a myth floating around, that bec. you are a rival of a team, you shouldn't want to see their practices. While admittedly, it may not be ideal, it still beats nothing.

FOOTBALL > NO FOOTBALL

Think of it in simple terms, for those that can't comprehend this either. Which is better? One delicious cookie? Or no delicious cookies? Would you rather have $1 or no dollars?

Applying that knowledge that we have just learned, let's examine the football arguement.

Some say its wrong to want to see a rival teams' practices. While its not ideal (having only $1 isn't ideal either)....its still better than no football (and no dollars).

Therefore, we can assume the statement

FOOTBALL > NO FOOTBALL

true, but let's say HH31 doesn't hail from Dallas, you know, for arguments sake, then that quickly brings down your useless information stat, doesn't it?
