after how many years and how many tries? and then he proceeded to slump for a long while. now they have a new guy, and they are in again after only two years.
It really doesn't matter, that former coach got them exactly where this new coach has them.
And this talk about Garrett has to go is pure emotion. Your comparison is bad and you should feel bad. Your point boiled down to this...
"Get rid of this guy and get this other guy and that will lead to success!"
How did this work out for Philly? Just because you THINK you can upgrade does not mean you will. Garrett has rebuilt this offensive line into one of the best units in all of football, and when it's all said and done, it could possibly be one of the greatest lines in NFL history. He's had two RBs in recent years rush for 1,600 yards or more, Romo had some of his best seasons once JG took over as HC, and under JG he has found what many of YOU GUYS are saying is "The next Tom Brady!"
Yet now, after all of that, we this emotional dribble stating "Get rid of him!". My biggest issue with these types of threads, it's just crying without any offer of a solution. So, I ask you guys, go ahead and throw out retread coaching names or some young gun from college or having some OK success with a team right now you believe can replace Garrett. Let's start there.
