Yep. And now he's a Philly guy.
There's this weird tendency to assume that status = merit. That's not really true. This guy makes Sterling Sharpe look prescient at times. Just because you agree with his take on this particular issue doesn't mean that he has exclusive rights to the truth.
As I pointed out earlier, he was all over the Danny Watkins pick. Unless he was commenting on his firefighting ability, he missed big there. It happens and your argument of Baldy said therefore I'm right is a poor one.
The difference is simple. The guy works as an analyst now. Bob Sturm is a Packers fan, he still does a job covering the Cowboys because that is what he's paid to do.
To suggest the guy made a comment about the running backs here in a negative light because somehow he is a diehard Philly guy ignores when he says positive things about Dallas. How do you justify that aspect? Becuase he was picking Dallas last year a great beal.
There are those that see both sides of the coin and others that have to have nothing but agreement with their position. I can discern bias versus a guy just doing his job.
He stated facts. Not much supposition there.
I don't need sugarcoating about this team. Others do. More power to them. But in this instance all I have seen is your willingness to find fault with his assessment, and not addressing anything but a misstatement of a year. That doesn't change the facts he stated one iota.
You chalk this up to my agreement with him. Again you assume a great deal about someone's opinion.
But in that statement, he offered facts about each player. Verifiable truth, save for his recollection of when one player was in Az. I have yet to see you dispute what he says versus you trying to smear him to discount his point.
This isn't a debate. It's merely a guy stating these guys haven't done squat. And until one of them does, he is right.
