If Ramsey is there he will be the pick.
On Madden.
If Ramsey is there he will be the pick.
This is your argument? "Ramsey played corner and safety, must go QB" - Dude, Ramsey isn't the first secondary player to come out of the draft like this. He's a top 5 pick due to production and high ceiling at safety. He will be tested at corner, if it doesn't work out, he goes back to his more natural position.

Smaller than any of the other IF's being thrown around in connection with Ramsey, Jack, or Bosa.
I have already studied up on them. It is not a lack of information that has brought me to what I would choose.
You see, I don't sit around and just deem players like Jack and Ramsey as "freaks" and assume they will make this defense better by simply being around.
Of course, people that are dribbling over the pair of them can't explain what it is exactly that they would do in Marinelli's defense.
It's always different with the other positions.
We will draft our next QB when we are desperate and you can guarantee us his success. And not a moment sooner.
I find that comical considering you're a guy who celebrated the trade up for the irrelevant Morris Claiborne. But a player the team has graded as a franchise QB? No way, man.
Sorry. None of the QBs in this draft are graded as a "franchise QB." By any team. One might surprise and turn out to be the next Tom Brady. But, right now, no team has a "franchise" grade on any of the QBs in this draft.
Overall, it's a bad draft for offense. Bad, in the sense nothing spectacular, but maybe overall, deep with potentially solid players particularly on defense. On offense, nothing to get excited about or write home about.
This "idiotic dream" is closer to reality. We are not taking Elliot at 4, you better get used to that as well while you cope with the fact that whatever QB you're obsessing over this week won't be drafted by us as well.
So, do more studying up on these defenders you dislike and find out why they are rated so highly. You got some homework to do.
Is he the first one at #4 overall? Yeah, yeah he is. You don't take either/or players at #4 overall.
What "production"? Just like Myles Jack, the "production" isn't there.
Yeah, just like that. If he fails here, we'll just put him there, bound to work out eventually, right? And that's what some people want to use the #4 overall pick on? A guy we'll just 'find a place for'...
One could argue that those guys are rated highly relative to the other players in this draft pool due to there being a lack of top end, elite players in this crop. In other years, I'm not sure that Ramsey or Jack are considered top 10 players.
While RBs are generally not valued that much anymore in the NFL due to it being a heavy passing oriented league, in an offense like the Cowboys ran in 2014, having a bellcow RB is a very valuable commodity, and Elliott represents the best version of that in this draft.
Of course, that same argument could be used for the QBs, but QBs are always overhyped in terms of ratings because of the real difficulty in finding a franchise guy.
You have access to every teams draft board. Lucky you.
You are confused as to what Jacks would do in Marinelli's defense? He's a highly athletic linebacker, he would be an immediate replacement to McClain if he isn't brought back. And what the hell are you confused about with Ramsey? He's a safety with some corner upside.
This means he is leaning towards QB. He's getting more and more senile...
Well, yeah. I mean, like seriously, what team's draft board would you like to see?
I can understand different eras, but that doesn't mean you discount the obvious production. Today's passers are being asked to pass more than ever and that gives you that much more information into how well they handle it. Goff was tasked with throwing the ball a lot, and he did it well, very well. That shouldn't ever be minimized or discounted.
Why not? Because it should. And it should matter even more to the people charged with obtaining these players. The fact is that even if a team thinks that a player might be their franchise quarterback, they're not letting him go. And it's the fact that shoots holes in the other positions.
I think that you're trying to dismiss this fact because it's absolutely true, and it renders any other position moot.
It's never "simple". If it were, teams would never miss. But in a draft where there are question marks about everybody - and there are - if you have even a chance of hitting on a quarterback who can set your team up for the next 15 years, you jump on it and be thankful for the opportunity.
Is safety a need for us? Yes. Is corner a need for us? Yes. There's a player in the draft that excelled at both of those roles in college. Best case scenario is, he translates into a corner in the NFL. If not, he goes back to his far more natural position in safety where he has a high ceiling. The worst case scenario is he doesn't work out at all, which can be applied to every player.
I now await for you to back up why a CB/S in the top 5 is a bad idea.
As for Myles Jack's production, his first two seasons in college he was easily one of the best linebackers in the country. He's comparable to most highly touted linebackers coming out of college, you'll be hard pressed to find a scout that thinks Jacks isn't an immediate impact player wherever he ends up.

Just like the AP thing... Stash, we're going to disagree.
