Fans don't realize how hard it is to win....it's easy to critique from a fans eyes, without having any inside knowledge.....happens at all levels of play.

I don't have to be inside to compare the results of Jerry's way of doing things to the results of organizations who operate differently.

Only 4 teams have fewer playoff wins in the 2000s than the Cowboys. Jerry's changed coaches more than he's won in the playoffs.

Not really . Cowboys have a devoted following because of prior history from previous eras and generations.

We’d be watching football and the NFL whoever had a team in Dallas and Texas. I watch about 25-30 hours a week of football. Cowboys are only 3 hours of it and my local broadcast.

I’ll always watch it. I watched before we had a winning season. It’s just more fun when you’re winning and having success.

The rest of the country watches us to root against us and laugh at what we’ve become. Shoot, I laugh at what we’ve become. Lol

I don’t know any real fans who actually defend Jethro. There’s some here who I think must just be Homers defending anything under the Star.

But any Cowboy fan with any instinct or insight beyond the glitch and glitter see how he’s eroded Cowboys football operations becoming the greatest obstacle to overcome.

Remember his initial words that he still echoes over 30 years later that being owner, Pres and GM provides the Cowboys a competitive edge. Lol

He’s a real piece of work . It’s never going to change.

Makes sense to me. Like being a HC and Athletic Director and District Chair. Gives you a big advantage if used correctly.

And there’s the rub.

It could have benefitted the Cowboys if used correctly like he did initially with Jimmy. But winning championships wasn’t enough.

He had to be the man, the face of the franchise front and center.

It happens to the best of us and we've all seen family members get to old age and start to decline/ say odd things they wouldn't have said previously.

I can attest I’m not as filtered in public as I used to be. Shoot, as a senior citizen you can get away with so much more . Once passing gas is publicly acceptable you can get away with almost anything. Lol

But don’t think he’s losing his mind. He’s just pushing the rhetoric responding to the criticism. He’s a promoter . Hype gains attention.

He’s the greatest sports promoter since Don King and Ali. It doesn’t matter what he says or how absurd it is. He keeps coming with it. Bad news is better than no news. Remember his priority in his own words is remaining ” interesting and relative”.

It’s really sad but for him it works. Unfortunately it’s not working for Cowboys Football success on the field. But he doesn’t care because it still works at the gates and cash register .

So do the Rams have a great culture? I guess since the Bengals struck gold last year, their culture is off the charts, yes? I NEVER hear from the Giants owners, so Im assuming that culture is fantastic. Hows that culture working our for them? I couldnt tell you who the Jets owner or GM is..... must be wonderful over there.

IM thinking if one Patrick Mahomes was our QB, all of the sudden our "Culture," would be fantastic.

If Jerry owned the Jaguars do you think hed be so great as a promoter? Jerry isnt a great promoter.... he owns a self promoting franchise. EVERY Fing year the media jumps on any storyline they can if it involves the Cowboys. The Raiders are 0-3 after splashing in the free agency market this past off season and nobody on espn gives a damn. Dak went to dinner last night and used his throwing hand to cut his steak dinner and it is the leading story on 4 of the main sports talk shows the next day. You think that is because of Jerry?

Damn, wake up people. The Cowboys are media gold. If Jerry died tomorrow and stephen took over and never spoke to the media for the rest of his life, you think the media would stay away from the Cowboys?
