Well, at least an embarrassingly drunk Jerry Jones (as if there are non-embarrassing drunks) makes more sense than a sober Al Davis.

That`s cheap, imagine if somebody filmed you with a hidden camera while you were drunk, that`s a low blow. I understand that he as an owner has to be more careful and responsible but still, he is human and probably was talking to a fan in a bar just like you or me and some coward decided to film it and post it on youtube, low blow, and hey he was telling the truth, we`ve got ROMO. :laugh1:

I know what the reaction would have been had Parcells said Jerry isnt worth a crap but I love him.

I just have no idea why he would say this in public and sabotage a relationship? Unless there isnt one anyways. Wade and Jerry have taken alot of shots at parcells since he has been gone, but this is different.

and there was alot of speculation at the end of 06 from alot of writers locally that bill wanted to come back and jerry didnt want to pay him, so maybe that is true.

Ya know, when I heard it, I got an "understanding" of what probably happened with a ticked off and perhaps somewhat drunk Jerry saying that he was going to fire Jimmy and that any of 500 coaches could have coached the Cowboys to those two super bowls.

They already talked about it at length. First read the transcript, then played the whole audio once they got all the bleeps in.

And I think it's far from certain that he was being serious about Parcells. Galloway said he's been around Jerry tons of times with Jerry drunk like this and he often says things trying to be funny and sarcastic that he isn't serious about.

He said right out Parcells isnt worth a blank, but I love him and then admits he only brought him in for a political reason, to persuade people like myself who voted on the stadium to vote yes.
