JFK Assassination...Your Honest Thoughts

Seeing all the theories one would then be lead to believe that the Warren Commision lied and frankly there is no reason with both republicans and democrats as part of the Warren Commission seeing all evidence and expert testimony would have a reason to lie unless they too are part of the cover up. Sorry not buying it.

No that is what your lousy eyes tell you.

what I am saying is that I knew a lot of marines that were lousy shots. Just being a marine does not make you a good shot.
And I am a decent shot, not a really good one. Are you any good?
I have a friend who is a sniper for the Tucson Police and I have out shot him. My niece's husband is in the Army right now training as a sniper and at Thanksgiving II out shot him.

I am better with open sights than I am with a scope, and I like my 30-30 lever action better than a bolt action, but yeah, I am good with a rifle. I am good with a shotgun. I'm good with a compound bow or a crossbow. I suck with a pistol.

The angle works for the 3rd shot as well.

No it doesn't.

Kennedy's head is down and leaning to his left. The bullet hit him just above the hairline behind his right ear and blew out a flap above his right ear. It is beyond clear in the Zapruder film. Everyone sees the backward motion and fail to see the obvious exit on the upper right side of his head. You know exactly where the x-rays and autopsy photos show it.

With his head down and to the left just how in the heck is a shot coming from the side, slightly in front of the limo going to blow out the right side of his head?

It isn't it is going to go out the left side of his head and most likely hit Jackie.

Exactly. How could a conspiracy so big...possibly needing hundreds of people...be covered up for almost 50 years.

You have hundreds if not thousands of people investigating this and nothing has leaked? Ridiculous.

A guy who had a website dedicated to the assassination about a decade ago, claimed to have had contact with somebody inside the DPD at the time. Claimed Oswald was conned into bringing his rifle to work that day to trade for kids swing set. Claimed the shots from behind were from a sargent in the DPD, had a photo of figure in the window. Claimed the knoll shooter was a DPD patrolman who was described as lanky slob. Claims coverup extended to jamming communications after the fact. Claims reason was segragation, this part I dont believe. All FWIW.
Okay, let's apply a little common sense here. If Oswald didn't do it why did he leave work? He was the only person who did. The rest of the SBD employees were accounted for. Why did he kill Tippit?

I don't buy this for a minute.

This thread made me realize where the whole thing took place. Since moving and working in Dallas just recently, smack in downtown, I drive out on Elm street to I-35. I had no idea that I was driving right along where all this happened when I was 2 years old.

You really should make the trip when your schedule allows. I have been there twice. It hits so much closer to home when you see it in person.

As I've mentioned several times, it is so eye-opening, especially those intrigued by the event.
I will go there some day in the near future. I have always planned to, just haven't got it done.

I agree bullets often keep going. My thinking is that if fired from behind him, the 3rd shot would've ended up in the seats or bodies inside the car in front of JFK.
If fired from in front of him, I don't see how it would've hit Jackie....especially when you already know where the 2 entry/exit wounds are on his head.

There was a dent in the windshield frame, a crack in the windshield and multiple fragments recovered in the car. All in front of Kennedy and matching the composition of the ammo Oswald bought.

Really?? I've never heard this before.

Last year they opened a new research center there, a library, if you will, with tons of info. I haven't made it out since it's been open, but I intend to spend a day or two in the library. A nice rainy weekend would be a good time to do it.:)

That tends to be the problem with most conspiracy theories it required so much cover up from so many. When talking of the killing of the President of the United States there would have to be so many involved from top to bottom to pull it off without anyone speaking of it over all these years.

He left work because he knew he been conned into bringing the rifle immediately after the fact. He knew who they would be looking for because he realized he had been set up. Supposedly the DPD sargent was turned to him as a patsy when he was sent to his residence a few months earlier as part of some investigation.

Finally, Jackie standing there while LBJ is being sworn in is just a stunning moment in time. Going into detail about it does no justice. Just look.

It's almost as if she knew.

Nope. Not buying this theory at all.

There are some conspiracy theories I can see. This one, not even a fraction of it. It was his rifle. He was anti-Kennedy. He built a nest. No way he let someone else use his gun. Just too far fetched.
