I'd go JM. He has a sort of "It Factor" about him.

I'm not sure RGIII is more talented than JFB.

Manziel has had uncanny accuracy, even on quick improvised throws, on the run, and especially the long ball.
Also has some of the quickest feet in the game.

But one the most arrogant knuckleheads in the game.

They both have a lot of baggage; one needs to find Jesus or Budda or Goodel, or have some major revelation in order to turn it around.

Both have already found the buddha and partake everyday.

Man i guess id have to go w Bob Three if forced too

Yeah, yeah, I know many of us want neither, and hope we solve our quarterback problem through the draft.
But assuming both are available and the Cowboys aren't going to draft a quarterback in 2016, who would you want the Cowboys to sign:

Manziel or RGIII.

Me? I'm going RGIII. Why?

1. He's more talented than Manziel.
2. He doesn't have a problem with alcohol.
3. He has lead a NFL team to the playoffs.
4. He hasn't made a bunch of noise from the sidelines and appears to be more humble about his situation.
5. He'll make the most of his second change compared to Manziel who I think will be the same wherever he goes.

You're up ... ;)

agree. RGIII. Manziel will always be a tease. he has had several warnings in the NFL and still gets in trouble. RG3 has higher potential. he is also motivated. I think siting back this year will actually help him than hurt him.

And that team that gave up 3 1st rd picks and a 2nd rd pick for basically nothing just won the division.

true. I read that the Skins have been to the playoffs twice since the trade while the Rams, who most all agree got the better end of the deal, has not been to the playoffs once. The Rams appear to be a QB away from being a really good team, but they are stuck in nowhereville until they can find one. finding one is the biggest challenge in the game today.

Its because Jeff Fisher is terrible and overrated. He's done nothing in recent memory to warrant praise.

They won the division by default. It was one of the worst moves in professional sports. They invested 3 1st rounders and a 2nd.....and then in the same draft went and drafted Kirk Cousins which ended up being a solid move but you essentially invested all of those picks just to get 1 quarterback you could've had even without investing those picks. It set the Deadskins back years and after this year i'm sure they will once again head back to the cellar of the NFC East.

You wouldn't get an argument from me. I know most are down on Chip Kelly but I think he would be a good fit with the Rams if they moved to Los Angeles. They have good young skill positions players and a good defense. Kelly would just need to find a QB. There appears to be guys out there this offseason who would fit his scheme. I know most think Kelly is a bust and maybe he is, but I still think he eventually has success in the NFL to some level.

I can't stand Chip Kelly. BUT I think his arrogance probably bit him a bit and hopefully he has learned from his mistakes. But most importantly where he came down crashing was trying to run personnel. He destroyed a whole organization. I'm not convinced that if Chip would scrap this whole "Clock management sucks" scheme and leave personnel alone that he wouldn't be successful with that Rams team. He'd surely know what to do with Tayvon Austin.

What's it going to be then, eh?

“Let’s just put it like this: We all would be aware that to bet on [Kellen] Moore for our backup quarterback has elements of risk to it. I’m not so sure that that’s any riskier than anything you would do with a decision in the future. On the other hand, what would enhance me taking risk is a big bigger upside. If that upside is there, that ol’ risk-reward situation, then yeah. This is as far as we’re going to go here now with this, because I don’t want to get involved in any type of tampering situation. We’d take some risk.”

Remember when Cowboys fans around here wanted him as head coach? :)

I remember very well. Granted, some will say Garrett is nothing but i'd much rather have him then the egotistical Jeff Fisher who has done NOTHING. You know there was a thread on here just a year ago about how great Chip Kelly is and how the Cowboys failed at not getting him. The CZ constantly talks about how bad of a GM Jerry is but I think as a whole if we were in charge we'd be far worse lol.

Shanny rolled that kid out there in a wheelchair his rookie year and made him keep playing when he was hurt. His knees were blown. And Dallas and I think it was the Giants beat him to submission if my recall is correct.
