I'd rather have RG3 than JF but that's not saying much lol. I live in Cleveland and Manziel is really going down a slippery slope with his off field behavior. Unless this is all a setup to get the heck out of Cleveland than its probably a genius move lol :D

Where is the direct quote? At least Manziel has said before going to Dallas would be a "fairy tale".

And let's be fair, Griffin would probably "love" to go anywhere else but Washington or a team with a Shanahan on the coaching staff.

My guess- even if Jerry wants either of these knuckleheads, McClay, Stephen, and Garrett will make sure it doesn't happen.

What makes you think that Stephen Jones, Garrett or McClay would be dead set against either one? Wait, is this one of those things where it is assumed they are the voices of sanity that is constantly talking Jerry Jones off the ledge?

Everyone here wants RG3 over JF if given the choice? Are you people insane? Hes one fall away from his career being over, personally i dont want either one, if i had to choose it would be JF for sure. He is younger, we have a support staff here, and really i think he just doesnt want to be in cleveland. Who knows. I want Lynch/Goff, but if i had to choose it would be JF

I truly believe RGIII has the talent and ability to be a good starting QB in the NFL. I think sitting a few years behind Romo and learning from a Jedi Master will bring out the force in the him.

Fact is RGIII would love to play for anyone right now. He has not played a down in over a year. If rumors started up tomorrow about playing in NY with the Jets he will say he would love that too.

Take one of those, then draft one 4th overall. Should be a bloodbath in training camp

Way too complicated. Once we sign a free agent, we will dab the corners of our mouth with a napkin, push away from the table and let out a big belch after saying "mission accomplished".

That is how we do things.

lol, true, last year Garrett won so it showed he didn't take crap from Jones, now that he lost, well he is just a puppet, this is all Jones' fault

And McClay is great because he certainly had no hand in the backup QB mess. Nor Garrett or Stevie. They just handle the "good picks" from the draft. Or something.

Here we go. Who's it gonna be? Manziel or Griffin III? Or neither? Knowing Jerry, it will likely be one of them. Discuss.

Admittedly, I have no idea. I do, however, believe JJ gets one of them. The decision might be made for him (if Cleveland keeps Manziel, for example, leaving only RG3). Seems pretty clear cut that Washington is going to cut ties with RG3, so he will be available. The question then becomes whether JJ sees Manziel as a better option and is willing to fork over a draft pick for him versus picking up RG3 for nothing. Both choices are flawed, obviously. I think most would say Manziel has the higher ceiling, talent-wise, while RG3 comes with far less off-the-field risk. Both would bring the element of "relevance" that JJ desires. My gut says that JJ would take Manziel (and give up a late pick in the process), given the choice of the two.

When your franchise QB is 36 years old and coming off an injury-plagued year, there's nothing "insane" about bringing in a young, talented, former 1st rounder for cheap.

Low risk, high potential reward.

Just because you personally don't like the stigma attached to those particular names doesn't mean it's a bad decision.

The real challenge for you people: figuring out how to strip Jerry of any credit if the move(s) ends up panning out for the Cowboys.

Would rather find a way to get Kaepernick than these two choices..........and don't really want Colin either!

Why does every misfit, malcontent, low talent, underachiever want to join the Cowboys?

Lack of discipline
Lack of accountability
Get paid
High expectations in words but low in deed

All of the above due to 2 reasons I can't state in this thread which is not about them
