Would rather find a way to get Kaepernick than these two choices..........and don't really want Colin either!

I tend to lean this way as well. If I am choosing between RGIII and Manziel then I would go RGIII and it isn't even close. Manziel is a walking disaster currently.

What makes you think that Stephen Jones, Garrett or McClay would be dead set against either one?

Because both are horrible QB's.

And, for the record, I don't think Jerry really wants either of them anyway. I was only stating what I guessed would happen in the off-chance that he does.

And McClay is great because he certainly had no hand in the backup QB mess. Nor Garrett or Stevie. They just handle the "good picks" from the draft. Or something.

Yeah, and the 3rd and 4th and 5th round picks have been so great. I don't get all of the Mcclay love.

This has already been a crazy offseason. And we are only 2 days into it.

As for RGIII. No thanks. Not a leader. To. Much of a me attitude. Can't read defenses. Can't run an NFL offense. Is already damaged goods.

This is moot, playmates!
Manziel, not RGIII, is in Sir Jones' plans for next year. Of course, Manziel, after sneaking away to Vegas, Thailand, New York and other places to pursue his bad-boy image, will get him fired by late next year in Dallas. Then and only then might RGIII be a possibility in Dallas.

I think the McClay love comes from the team drafting OLine in recent years, which was a big departure from the past. In other words, any change is good change in the minds of many.

I think he lusts after both of them personally. He had already flapped his gums then shut up invoking the word tampering.

Why does every misfit, malcontent, low talent, underachiever want to join the Cowboys?

Lack of discipline
Lack of accountability
Get paid
High expectations in words but low in deed

All of the above due to 2 reasons I can't state in this thread which is not about them

A lot of them are from the Texas/Dallas area.......

I thought that was all Garrett?

Now I am all confused, someone tell me the right answer!

RGIII in any offense that is not a read option offense will end badly. Heck, I am not so sure he is worth anything in a read option offense either.

Way too complicated. Once we sign a free agent, we will dab the corners of our mouth with a napkin, push away from the table and let out a big belch after saying "mission accomplished".

That is how we do things.

You felt that's what they did last year after winning 13 games?

Remember, it's a "fluid process". It can be anyone you want it to be at any time you want it to be.

See why we are America's Team, everyone wants to play for us no matter how screwed up an organization we have become. Do you here players say I would love to play for Philly.

I think he lusts after the type of attention either player would bring, not necessarily the players themselves.

But I do think we'll refrain from acquiring either, and that should speak volumes to those who are certain we'll end up with one, if not both.

Maybe I missed it but do not see where RG said he would love to join the Cowboys

RG3 doesn't want to join the Cowboys or anyone else. His best strategy right now is to sit tight in Washington and collect as much of his over inflated salary as possible. Any trade will require the renegotiation of his contract. He'll never get as much guaranteed money as he currently has. Unguaranteed money, no matter how much is useless if you can't play.

Take one of those, then draft one 4th overall. Should be a bloodbath in training camp

I agree. I think we take one of those two and best case get Wentz in a trade down or better yet in the second. Battle it out from there. If Wentz is more ready than some seem to think coming from a small school then we have more options at backup and can keep only two QB's on the roster. If Wentz isn't ready for that then we keep three and one of the knuckheads is QB2 for a while. Maybe halfway through the season Wentz is more adept at the pro game and can move to the #2 slot. Backup plan if a knucklehead flames out in pre-season (on or off the field) is the forth QB in camp Moore is thrown into the mix as the 2nd or 3rd QB.

If nothing else it should be a bloodbath and bring out some competition.
