Yep.

But I also feel that way about the Eagles and Commanders. I have too much respect for Coughlin to make that claim with the Giants.
To be honest, though, a big part of the problem is that Tony is so good and so consistent, he masks so many flaws on the team that it inhibits the ability to properly evaluate starters. He's made terrible lines into pro bowlers. Made subpar receivers millionaires. He even makes our defense look significantly better.

Think about it. If Tony never breaks his collar bone, Randle would most likely have racked up some decent stats and still be our starting running back, or at least heavy in rotation. And without him, dude doesn't even have a job.

Same could be said for our coaches too.

I think you might be correct, that was his first. I was doing the match of 4 years, and this is JG's 4th. Still he's gone, and what else? Street? Escobar? Swaim? Randle? Crappy fullback after fullback??

I remember Murray talking to Garrett on the phone in the secret audio and telling Garrett he was going to do everything he could to lead the Cowboys to the National Championship.

Sympathy for you because you don't have the heart to see Joseph Randle as a human being. A persons income should not factor into whether we see them as human beings or not. For the most part we all want the same things in life.

Everyone comes from different life situations and we are handle pressure, stress, ect in a different ways. I just don't like seeing people looking at others struggles on the surface and not having enough love in their heart to consider that they are talking about a human being.

We don't know what Randle is going through personally. We don't know what he is doing right now. He could be reading this message board for all we know. Why pile on a man who is already at a low point with added insults and rude comments.

People do this so often here. They call Christine Michael stupid also.
I just think we should try to see others as our brothers and not as idiots or morons.

Sorry to go off on a rant of sorts. I just feel bad for him as a man and hope he can turn around whatever troubles he has whether self inflicted or situational.

Sounds to me like a hell of a lot of excuses that you're making.

Yeah, the one where he caught the TD pass on I beleive the last play of the game.,.....

you lose this argument. He did more in Dallas in the last few years then most; Dez and Romo have him beat, but after that , it was Murray.

And if you want to just nit pick single plays to make an argument, were going to be here a long long time.,

So whats your argument>? That DM wasnt a good football player wioth the Dallas Cowboys. A trusted teammate that was placed equally, among the leaders of the team, Dez Romo Witten?

Is that what you are arguing?

No i'm talking about where he missed his block(as he's done before) and Romo got broken.

Sounds to me like a hell of a lot of excuses that you're making.

Give me an example of an excuse I am making and tell me what I am making it for?

Asking for people to think of a person as a fellow human and to have the same compassion that you would have if he was your child, friend or brother is not making excuses. Asking that people who don't know the man to hold off on laughing at him and calling him names is not making excuses. There is nothing to make excuses for and no reason to make them. He clearly messed up or made poor decisions or had some situations that he wasn't equipped to handle in the best way.

What are these excuses you are referring to? You know the "hell of a lot" of them.

Didn't read entire thread so apologies if this has already been hashed.

That is a misrepresentation of the facts. Murray was released because they weren't prepared to pay as much as he commanded. They certainly weren't happy about him leaving.

Randle was here and got the chance to run with it (pun intended). You can see how much they depended on him by the fact they brought McFadden in early. They didn't waste any time bringing others on board either. He never was a known commodity they were depending on.

They could have signed a deal with them had they wanted to keep him. They lowballed him because they didn't want to pay a RB with the talent on the Oline, and chose to spend the money on Tyrone Crawford.

It's simple. They didn't want to spend that much on a RB and tie up the ability to sign other players. RBs aren't expensive. Our running game is fine. It's the passing offense that is suffering.

I think had we kept Murray, we would have won at least 2 games that we lost in our 5 game losing streak.

Murray didn't need 40mil guaranteed like he got from Philly, but he needed more than the paltry 8-10 million we were offering.

We had our 2nd version of triplets, and we got cheap. I don't like that.

That's not saying much because if we had at least even a semi-competent coaching staff we'd have won 3 of those. We gave away the Seattle, NY and Atlanta game. And some could argue the same against NO as well.

We offered a one year deal but not to lose him. However they could only hope for that as he was almost certainly going to reject that. It's unfortunate. Few RBs would have won a game for us albeit unlikely. Maybe AP.

a long time ago in a world of football now so very far away, i cried when bledsoe took the field. not because i liked it, but because it was a sack / annihilation waiting to happen. our OL was just that bone nugget dry and pathetic. then romo came along and his ability to move around bought time and suddenly many said the OL got better.

i cried again. i was pretty emotional back then you see.

but i said time and again romo was making the OL look better because of his mobility and that didn't go over well. years later we started crying out how badly we needed a line.

now while i got that one right, i had no idea his importance to the team would mean the total and complete inability to win with him out of the lineup. now i don't know if it's coincidence or fact but something has made this team just fall apart.

as much as i hate it, i put that one back on coaching. either (2) backup qb's simply can't win a game or we can't put a game plan together to make use of the talent we do in fact have on the field. regardless of how this plays out, the teams apathetic performance week in and week out, save for a handful of players that play no matter what (dez you ain't one of 'em sorry, i saw you take 2-3 plays off last week and i wasn't even looking for it) we got nothing and no one to hold them accountable.

so long way of me just saying from what i've seen, been right about, been wrong about, and learned along the way, i agree. :)
