Just say no if he's there at 26

Yeah I agree, but I remember years ago telling the dreamers there's no way Dez will be there for the taking. The draft is a strange beast.
True. But Dez was out for a year wasn't he? And his speed wasn't exactly great. I think there were reasons why Dez dropped. The only way BR drops is if there's a serious undervalue on running backs in the first round. But, heck, I'll take that.

I have no idea why anyone would want to draft a running back in the first round? In today's NFL you want longevity with your first pick and drafting a running back isn't it. It's very rare that an NFL running back is going to have the same impact and effectiveness during his second contract (if he even gets one) like he did in his first. There are so many better options there so if the Cowboys were smart in the first round (they've done very well here btw) they will pass on Bijan Robinson, who is a very good running back but the Cowboys will do so much better in the long run with an offensive lineman. Connor McGovern's spot hasn't been filled so an O-line at 26 would make a lot of sense, especially with all the good O-lineman that they've drafted in the past in the first round then maybe take a running back on day two or three.
I don’t see how you can say you wouldn’t take a player without knowing what your options are
I’m a big fan of going guard at 26 but a 26th pick worthy guard has to be thete

The draft is all about drafting as many difference makers as you can, regardless of position - unless you have a glut at a position, which means you trade with another team and let them take that difference maker you don't need.

Bijan Robinson is a difference maker.

And our quarterback needs as many weapons/difference makers as he can get.

If BR is there at #26, run the card to the podium, take 4 quick laps around Roger Goodell to make him dizzy, announce the pick, then blow the party horn.

I'm ready for this offense to return to ground dominance.

If they feel Robinson is the next Fred Taylor or Tomlinson, you go for that guy because neither could be negated. Taylor might rush for 40 but he'd catch passes for 80 and open up the offense.

What was the biggest problem with the Cowboys last season? Scoring points. What other player in this draft can better help with that than this guy?

I personally think Robinson will definitely go in the top 15. However, if he did slip to the Cowboys I wouldn't hesitate making that pick. By that point in the draft the boards are running thin on instant impact players and for a win now team, why not take the the bpa? I get not drafting an RB early, but I think there's acceptable value at RB at that point.

Watch for one of these teams pull the trigger.

6) Lions
8) Falcons
9) Bears
10) Eagles
12) Texans trade pick to another team coming up.
14) Patriots

His jump and cut back and just lateral cutting ability in general is off the chains. I read some comments from Longhorn fans and they were basically saying his was their whole offense, as they didn’t really have any support. Led the league in yards after contact. Everything looks so natural with him, which is rare.

You just don’t let a guy like that go if given the opportunity. He’s a difference make for any of these 3 teams, enough to make them SB contenders.
Ya I had heard that if you combined zeke and pollard into 1 back you get him

I haven’t seen him much but his hype is real . I look for him to gone in teens

If it was a top 20 pick I would not be on board with a RB. If Robinson is BPA and available at #26, I wouldn't have a problem with it as long as there was no starter ready OL, DL, CB, or LB available there.

When it gets to draft day Dallas will move up for this guy if they really want him.

Not a chance Bijan lasts to 26.

My wish is for the defense. I want some bad mutha(shut your mouth) to come in, mean, nasty but right in the mind, no thugs allowed! lol. In my mind I think the offense will be just fine, but the defense needs some road graders in the middle.

All everyone does around this forum lately is talking about the offense, but when the game all goes to hell, they get the blame. I want a defense that will intimidate the other team across the line thinking to them selves, your not getting our QB but we are coming after yours right away! Then the offense can do their thing.

They got worn out last season because of the offense and QB.

Would hope to get an understanding of what their draft board looked like in that moment. Moving up in the 1st is usually pretty pricy, especially if it's Jerry making the ascent.

Jersey sells..

This is the Cowboys.. Never forget that.

You think Darnell Wright and some random 3rd round Chauncey Gholston is gonna get people excited?

Man, I wish the Cowboys coaches and scouts would stage a kidnapping of Jerry and Stephen on the eve of the draft and return them home safely the following Monday.
