For whatever reason it seems to be a lot of people’s human nature to judge people by color, and you know that so stop with the “why bring color into it?” If you are a person that doesn’t judge, god bless you but let’s not act like this doesn’t happen far too often. I just caught up with this thread and, to be honest, haven't read every post. However... there are a string of posts that remind me of the old Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy movie, "Trading Places" and, in particular, the bet on the "nature"vs "nuture" argument.

Position matters, that's how Booger got Collins, he agreed to play him at RT because almost every projection had teams making him a G. The difference in money is substantial.

Philly, while your point is valid, it's best to steer clear of these areas because it opens the forum up to go where it should not and does not want to go.

I do think the inequities are known by most here even though we don't discuss it.

I wonder what people think seeing him in that video with Gallup and Prescott giving that lady a new car? Do they play the "what's wrong with this picture, thought this guy had character issues?"

I find it interesting that LSU was basically silent about his transfer and you don't have to look hard to find the character issues on that team. They were looking the other way on sexual assaults and Joseph has a character issue?

I don't think it's wrong to believe a guy with a history of character issues does in fact have character issues.

Some of ya'll thought every year single year was the year that Randy Gregory had finally got it together. He NEVER got it together. It took a rule change for him to have a career. Some guys just don't change from the person that had "character concerns" pre draft.

I'm glad that it's nothing major, but Joseph didn't deserve the benefit of the doubt yet. His issues take time to develop trust. I don't care if he does have a star on his helmet.

I just said the kid doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt because of his past. I didn't say throw him in the streets.

I'll ask you, if you had a guy that had a history of stealing, would you allow that person to stay at your home with 100% trust? If something came up missing would you give him the benefit of the doubt or would you look at the persons past and think "ya know, maybe it's just a problem they have".

erod----i am the last person that can point a finger at anyone....i was still creating wreckage in my life and wife and families life at age of 34 with addictions to booze and drugs....by only the Grace of God did He Deliver me from that stuff...my wife should have divorced me as total loser....but she is one of the few real good women who stood by the vows she made at our wedding....but its now been over 20 years and things better got grandkids and for some reason they like me....so when these young men many grew up poor ..out of nowhere are mulitimlillion-aires and tons of attention and publicity totally blow it...only reminds me of me...but i did not need tons of money or attention to make real bad choices when i was young
