Do You know anything? Google is your friend. Google "Bill Callahan" and then when you see "Bill Callahan - Wikipedia" you can find out for yourself when Bill Callahan got hired.

Did Kitna play under Callahan's blocking schemes with the Cowboys? Did he play under his play-calling?

It doesn't matter. You would have started a thread about how it was a stupid move no matter who they brought in to be the back up.

Apparently, there's a great young unknown QB out there, who would be the next franchise QB, and by getting Kitna instead, we're missing out on signing him.

You don't like answering questions... How many seasons did Kitna have more INTs than TDs and how many winning records did he take his teams to?
Google is your friend. If you type in "Jon Kitna" you will see a link to "Jon Kitna - ProFootballReference and you can look that up yourself. Then you wouldn't need to ask me.

So we worked out six or so guys and signed the guy that made the phone call but didn't work out, because he played with Garrett but never Callahan?

Or a great known QB that even though nobody wants he would have come in and moved Orton aside and taken us to glory. He doesn't even seem to realize Kitna was signed because he knows the Offense and can therefore accurately run plays for practices.

No, we signed a guy who knows the Offense, personnel, and terminology already. We signed a guy who himself went through a herniated disc in 2011 and knows what Romo is going through more than anyone else. We signed a guy who is respected by Tony Romo more than you will ever understand, who respects the Head Coach and organization more than you will ever understand, and who regularly was the leader of prayer sessions after practices and meetings that were attended by some of the best players on this team. We signed a guy who is a HS football coach, and who could roll out of bed and throw the football the same as any guy who played the position could if they've continued to throw a football. We signed a guy who can run scout team plays because he is tough, intelligent, and a natural leader. We signed a guy who more players than you can even imagine are excited to have back.

I swear I said that already.

lol... After awhile I would think that the whiners would get tired of hearing their OWN whining. But I guess not. I mean when you are to the point of trying to make a big deal over who they signed to play if Kyle Orton goes down, and can't see the O B V I O U S point that it is about the system and familiarity with the team, you just WANT to complain.

Does it matter? If they are as bad as you say as coaches would they have picked the right one anyway?

Google is your friend. If you type in "Bill Callahan" and open another browser and type in "Jon Kitna" then got to Wikipedia for both searches you can compare whether or not they ever worked together and then you wouldn't need to ask me.

Imagine ....just imagine..Lets say Kitna needs to come in late in the 4th Qtr...and he engineers a game-winning TD drive...How about this for the next day's newspaper headline:

sarcasm...

Strangely placed... We have a game to play in a few days and it would benefit most of us to get behind our team. Look at the bright side, they signed someone that knows the offense and can run it if called upon. They could have signed Tebow. I bet that would have made your head explode. :D

I heard about this farmer one time and he apparently had a dog. I cannot remember what his name-O was though.

He would whine no matter who we signed. It's all a tired act of his and it is good so many can see through it. Now he wants someone who has a winning record in the NFL, who knows Garrett's Offense, and has experience with Callahan's blocking schemes.

In other words, he has no solutions, just new ways to show his ***.

Since when is getting behind the team qualified by this liking of the move?

I'm going to repeat what I said in another thread about this same thing.

Does anyone really think this matters? If Orton goes down, the only thing Kitna or anyone else they sign is going to do is hand the ball to Murray.

Google is your friend. If you type in Dallas Cowboys depth chart you should be able to find a link to some site that tells you whether or not Kitna is going to start for us without having to ask me.

So Kitna hasn't played with Callahan, we have totally new blocking schemes, but he's a brilliant leader, though he's only had one winning season in his life. You'd have a better argument if you just said necessity instead of trying to spin it as some glorious move because a QB leads prayer meetings.
