wrong jacko - but thanks for playing. i didn't rail on parcells till 4 games left of his 2nd year and even then it took wasting 2 of the 4 games and not letting a backup play. so - at most, 2 years and 2 games.

For those that don't like BBGuns takes and tend to be on one side of the fence...and only those guys...

Write a post of all the things you think Jerry Screwed up since Jimmy left.

No good things, just the things that he screwed up since Jimmy left.

hiring of switzer. i've defended it in the past and would likely continue to do so, but as the owner of the cowboys, switzer was in as much a dig at jimmy as hiring a good coach. a petty move. while switzer i think was a good coach, "bootleggers boy" in charge of americas team was a disaster waiting to happen regardless. jones should know some things just won't mix and switzer as our coach in our media - bad call.

campo. another bad move. not because campo didn't earn it, but because he'd known campo for years and regardless of earning it, campo was just too nice a guy to be "head man". it's different coming in from the outside and giving a guy a chance, but if you know him - like switzer above, be smarter than that.

loyalty to players. that's a dual edged sword and more often than not in jones career, he's cut himself with it. larry allen being one example.

"meddling". no other fault of his will haunt him longer than his "meddling", allowing talk of him being coach, and letting his own ego drive the cowboys for awhile into the ground. his "overseeing" of coachs since johnson, insisting on calling the shots (or at least looking like it) and so forth. he's earned the bashing he gets, but like jones should have been smarter than *that* about his own mistakes, some should back off and see if he's learned, but they won't.

galloway. good idea on paper that almost wiped out the good of the walker trade in end-result stupidity.
