Let's not forget the price for Wentz (2-1st, a 2nd, a 3rd & two players)

The Broncos are in free fall mode. They were playing dominant football when we played them. They are playing so badly now they benched their starting QB in favor of a QB so bad a team is paying him not to play for them. Let's keep it all in perspective.

If we had played 9 games with San Francisco what would you expect our record to be? That's almost what Philly has done. They got beat soundly by a team that we dominated yesterday.

I'm not yet that impressed with Philly. Their defense appears pretty solid and their offense is clicking too but it is against not the best of teams.

According to Football Outsiders efficiency rankings, the Eagles and Cowboys have played roughly the same quality schedule to date.

I was so right about Carson Wentz.

@GimmeTheBall! was so wrong I remember. Many others as well who thought his talent meant nothing because he played at a small school.

The guy is one of the most physically gifted QB talents I've ever seen. A Lebron JAmes type of QB talent. He checks every box.

The guy is Aaron Rodgers in Big Bens body.

I just don’t see the incessant need for some in our fanbase to try to skew, twist and crap on every move made by an opposing team.

The Eagles paid a steep price for Wentz and I guarantee you they’d do it over again.

Not hardly. The Rams are for real and we should have beaten them. Green Bay is a different team without Rodgers but can put points on the board if he is playing.

LOL oh yeah, these two swee peas actually think their hiding their Cowboy's FO contempt, but they don't. Along with @visionary, they'll hang out and wait for the Garrett and Jerry to screw up, or the team goes on a losing streak, etc... and then they will educate the masses on here and tell us how bad the Cowboy's FO is, etc., etc, etc...

Notice, it's mostly the same cast of characters who never offer any real, objective content. They'll never break down a matchup, never offer any cool insight we might have missed as fans, etc.

Mostly everything is knee jerk reactionary responses to others, with the primary objective of starting an argument or "flame war".

Some of these guys have been here 5+ years and never once posted anything of substance. I'm not talking substance that needs to be an All 22 review, I just mean any halfway interesting stat that most maybe weren't aware of going into a game. Most of these guys will literally never mention anything about packages or meaningful stats, because they don't care about the team enough to actually know them.

No its 3-4 guys who take this approach you guys do. Sit around and wait for things to go bad........just to say I told you so. The team is playing well.....so you go to your "The front office failed us this offseason"....ok we get it. Now what? We can't take this offseason back and right now if this team wins a ring then what? You guys will still talk about how this front office failed us. Not even mentioning that we could've made moves this offseason that would've buried some of your younger guys. WE could've went at Calais Campbell and buried Irving or Lawrence. Quit worrying about the moves we didn't make and worry about the moves we did. It will be less stressful.

I've been critical of the FO win or lose. You continue to set up strawman arguments that make no sense.

Now what? Watch the team, hope the win, point out that they screwed up and hope they fix their mistakes this coming offseason. Pretty much what happens on every single NFL team message board every single day.

Keep this in perspective too. That quarterback that is now benched for being terrible looked like John Elway against the Cowboys defense. He threw 4 touchdown passes and had the best day of his season against us. We he,led him to look that good, because obviously, he isn't.

If we had played 9 games with San Francisco what would you expect our record to be? That's almost what Philly has done. They got beat soundly by a team that we dominated yesterday.

They lost by a touchdown. And they dominated a team that dominated us.

They're 8-1 against their schedule. And if their schedule is against "not the best of teams", ours at 5-3 is as well.

They have the best record in football, and a quarterback on an MVP pace, leading the league in touchdown passes. And a defense and running game playing great as well. And they've handled injuries with relative ease.

They're a tough team this year and I can admit that without having to somehow try to chop it down or minimize it.

Some people can handle it. Some people can't.

Given your attempt to have information censored, I know where you stand.

I see where the "obsession" comes from. The same people jumping in the same type of threads complaining and what and where others are talking. As if it's up to you.

This forum is for fans. Not Judas trolling types. The only team that's won more games than Cowboys the past two years is the Patriots...and all you do is whine, moan and piss on everything.

You can think what you want. I am just giving you a more unbiased, analytical look at SOS. Frankly, I trust that more than what some fans think.

Yeah it was a good move. We get it. But some of us aren't salivating over it like some of you are. There is a difference.

Sorry, I don't see this at all.

Rogers is a mobile QB who has a quick release. He's also is pretty quick in reading defenses. I don't see this with Carson Wentz yet.

The eyeball test told me the Rams are a good team and now the record is starting to beat that out. They remind me of the 92 Cowboys.

Yeah, there's an obvious difference. Some people are mature enough to give credit where it's due and some people aren't.

We get it.

You guys said they turned around a few years ago.....remember when they had Chip Kelly? It takes more than one year. Next year they could suck. They could be a perennial team. That's when we will know how good they are.

You guys?
I didn't say that at all.

Who is salivating over it? Other than Risen? Most people are acknowledging what's reality.

The Eagles likely have a franchise QB. A franchise QB is worth a steep price. The Eagles also got lucky and recouped their #1 pick when they moved Bradford so their cost to get a franchise QB wasn't that high. We got our franchise QB in the 4th round, again, with some luck that we couldn't grab Lynch or Cook.

I am not sure what's wrong with what is said above.

But the fact the Rams are playing well now is factored into their SOS calculation. It's based on the quality of opponents played.

So, based on analytics and not fandom, this notion that we've played a brutal schedule and Philly has played the "49ers 9 times" is misleading most likely.

The reality is Philly has played well all season. We have not but are starting to play better right now. Hopefully that continues. Atlanta is a 3 point favorite but that is a very, very winnable game heading into the important Philly matchup.

We just dominated the team that gave them their only loss.

They're not this unbearable juggernaut you insist on labeling them as in EVERY. SINGLE. THREAD.

No, just "EVERY. SINGLE. THREAD. " where they're brought up. You know the ones, clearly marked. If you can't handle the conversation, it's easy to stay out of the thread rather than trying to shout down someone who is capable of discusssing the subject.

Rodgers definitely has the quicker release (it's not comparable at all) but Wentz is very mobile in the pocket.
