But he's a jerk so he's awesome. Remember Demarcus Ware? He was a nice guy, so he sucks.

Great post. https://encrypted-tbn1.***NOT-ALLOWED***/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRV_dB2un6cZEWY4UtyZBwdSFxJhWVBkAhCZjkzlVWs1lKN8Hkj:D

Some people are disrespectful in different ways. I can take a guy who stands in the Costco free sample lines and takes an extra cracker with some spread on it. I can't take the guy who bowls everyone in line over, eats all the food, tips over the cart and stomps on the employee just for the thrill of it.

He's probably the most over rated player I've seen in a long long time.

George Selvie 45 tackles- 7 sacks- 1PD- 1FF- 11QB Hurries- 7 stuffs

Ndamukong Suh 49 tackles- 5.5 sacks- 6PD- 1FF-11 hurries- 6 stuffs

Wasn't aware Suh and Selvie played the same position, interesting.

Dontari Poe only had 4.5 sacks last year, I bet you guys wouldn't want him either, huh. Afterall, we're so flush at DT.

Just in terms of the player? Sure. I'd take him. He has talent although he's a huge headache. Which is why the Lions are shopping him.

But would I give up a 1st rounder? Absolutely not. I's rather take someone 5 years younger with that pick. And we need all the draft picks we have to build for the future. Can't continue to screw these up.

Not for a draft pick and a fat contract no. If he's so good why are they trying to unload him?

Then say that. Don't put up his stats and Selvie's stats and declare him overrated.

Contracts can be worked with, I wouldn't rule it off based on that alone.

I put it up because its true he didnt produce better numbers than George Selvie who was acquired for a 7th round pick. I'm not declaring him over rated. It's a fact.

These are my favorite types of discussions. Person 1 says A, Person 2 says B, Person 1 says A again, but louder.

This is a waste of time, as you were.

Well maybe person 2 shouldn't tell person 1 not to say A.

I would trade #16 in this year's draft for Suh. I would rather trade down with another team for a lower pick in the 1st and pick up another pick in the 2nd or 3rd and do that deal but yeah, I would trade 16 for Suh. He is better, IMO, then anybody in this draft.

The guy is prolly the best DT in football. He is still young, strong as an ox, plays with an attitude and would excel here. The guy is a beast. He is also a known quantity - there are no sure things in the draft even in the first round. If we could work out the numbers in our favor I would be all over him. An elite talent

He may elevate his game with a change of scenery and having a coach that will light a fire under his butt in RM.

Suh is an elite talent, but Suh in Dallas has media disaster written all over it. I wouldn't trust the current coaching staff with getting the most out of the guy. (Jimmy Johnson on the other hand..)

Why not try to do this:

* set up a trade down in the first where we swap firsts and get a 2nd
* after that trade goes down, already have the next deal in place to trade the higher of the 2nd rounders that you have for Suh

that way, you still get a first rounder (albeit, a lower one), you still get a 2nd (whether it is lower than #47 depends on the team), and the rest of the draft remains the same

essentially, you move back in the first and 2nd (at worst) and get Suh...I can live with something like that...but, in this draft, you have to get players and you can't get them if you don't have the choices...
...without something like that, Suh, while I love his talent, is a freakin' head-case to the max...any move for him which includes having to pay him handsomely has to not prohibit the team's draft
