Looking forward to the season

I am looking forward to getting this season over with.

Losing to GB was bad enough. Then Jerry makes his all in comment and I stupidly got my hopes up only to realize he did it again, or I did. I won't let that happen again. I think something change d in Dallas. Its not just the lack of free agency signings, It is also the fact that they didn't really make an effort to sign their own guys, unless they were super cheap. Then they sign Zeke and gaslight up by saying he is still a starting RB. No one believes that. I don't even think Zeke believes that.

I really just want to get past this season so I can see what they do next off-season. If they do the same as this year, then my hopes for Dallas will be pretty bleak. I won't give up on them completely, but my fanship will be a lot more casual.

My brain tells me this won't get better until the Joneses have nothing to do with this team anymore and even then we have to hope new ownership is better than what we have. But I've been a fan for a really long time so I don't think I can walk away. I was think back to the late 1980s when Dallas was a sinking ship. Even then I had more hope for this team than I do now.

I knew right away his “all in” comment was not what everyone wanted it to be. He actually stated he’s “all in” in signing his own free agents. But CZ fans went crazy and then the BSPN types took it to a whole new level and people actually started to believe his “all in” meant all in on free agency. He never said that.

Don’t forget he mysteriously vanished last year for much of the season when Dak was lighting it up. Months he disappeared.

Not exactly. You always say crap. You are the laughing stock of this site. I really enjoyed your F grade take. It's great that they put that in the overtime. It's classic.

This might be the most unintriguing season in a long time. Not because there's no talent, but rather because everyone knows a 5th place horse is a 5th place horse, if you need to see it over and over again, ok you will get to see it again.

I always look forward to the new season regardless how the previous season ended.

Yes, I realize the betting money is for more of the same but, that doesn't necessarily dampen my enthusiasm for the new year.

I think the draft was "ok" - not great and certainly not bad. I do like the attention on the OL.

No pithy insights, just a multi-decade fan looking forward to training camp, preseason and the fall.
