Difference is these teams are willing to let players go and flip guys for future resources, and they have actual GMs who can appropriately structure contracts. KC was willing to deal Tyreek Hill for picks to better the defense and be able to have the cap space to fill out the Oline. They also locked up Mahomes to a decade long deal which gives them a ton of flexibility to move money around as needed and as the cap goes up they actually get ahead on the deal. Eagles will be interesting to watch as the Hurts contract becomes real money, however they had the foresight to lock up Hurts to a 5 year deal with 4 void years built in to kick money into. They also utilize the down years they have with premium draft picks to trade back and maximize value....when teams like the Cowboys and Giants have top 5 picks they draft running backs. It's feasible, you're 100% correct, but not with how this front office is operating.Look at how the Eagles, Chiefs and Ravens are structured. It’s feasible
