He has been out of his mind for years.
He's an insufferable homer.

Dont forget, they get marisnik back, also they dealt with several injuries key non pitchers from june to september and still came through.Still like to see them have a reliable LH reliever.
But it's not unrealistic to think the 2018 team could be better than the 2017 team.
How so?
Beltran was not a good producer as the primary DH. Quite frankly he may have been the worst regular DH in the league.
Plus they'll Verlander for the entire season– That's big.
At one point last season the Astros' top 4 starters were on the DL. McHugh was gone for almost the entire season.
Finally they still have a heck of a farm system even "graduating" a number of guys over the last couple years to the major leagues.

I agree, we need one or two quality lefties in the bullpen. Not sure if he is a lefty, but I would love Morrow.
May he die a slow painful death for his horrible decisionIt's rumoured that Morrow is signing with the Cubs.
Then read it again.
The one where I first responded to your question. Are you a Yankees fan or something? You seem quite obsessed with this issue. If you would be so kinda as to point out what post I should be reading again.
You're darn toot'n, I am!He's an insufferable homer.

I'd like to say the Yankees raped the Marlins in this deal, but you can't really call it rape when the owner of the Marlins so eagerly bent over and spread his cheeks for them.
The Commissioner should void this deal (but he won't). What a joke.
Angels said to be heavily in on Cesar Hernandez, along with the Mets (and, supposedly, Toronto). I swear, @Tabascocat, if you guys take our future 2B and leadoff hitter...
We have coveted him for a year now. 27 years old, .370 OBP, ~.275-.290 AVG, <get his hits>, 60 walks, 80 R, 4-4.5 fWAR, elite speed, good defensively, low contract, team control till 2021. PHI's 2B prospect in AAA must be a sure bet. You generally don't see a player like this (age) get loose. I'd give any pitcher on our roster, even Shohei (unpopular) for this kid. There's more depth in the talent pool for P than there is good 2B
Mets-Rangers discussing a Harvey for Profar trade. I don’t like this, Profar is done while Harvey has a chance to recover.
For us, he'd be amazing. We have a huge hole at 2B, and have since we traded Howie to the Dodgers for Heaney. Plus, we have a hole at leadoff. He fits like a golve with our club. A .370 OBP is pretty awesome, imo, for a 2B.I don't see where Hernandez is all that great myself.
Good? His OBP is good... But not great. He doesn't steal a lot of bases. Little power. And his defense is meh.
I think his WAR is making him out to be a better player than he actually is.
Stros baby!!
Mets are doing the grocery shopping at the discount bin at Aldi and Big Lots. They are checking all the use by dates and if the player was highly rated 5 to 7 years ago and have stunk in the big leagues, then the Mets are the team to give them a chance. Can't Sandy Alderson just retire already. And someone needs to take jeffy Wilpon on an overnight fishing trip. I am getting close to jumping ship. Been a Mets fan since 1969. Watched NLCS game six in the Astrodome in 1986 and thought they could never bring me any more happiness. Then I banged my head on the ceiling of my house a week later when Bucker booted Mookie Wilsons ground ball. 31 years since a World Series win. This team is so depressing. Mets fans are fools. At least the Marlins build up a team and tear it down every few years giving their fans some hope. Mets management is just lost.
