F I wasn't in the trees on most holes, I'd feel like I was cheating!

I've got to where I stash booze in the trees so it isn't so bad when I hit into them. Except the one time my ball hit the bottle and busted it.

Leon, sounds like you are going to be busy for a little while yeah? Incidentally, the skies over Texas could be interesting today and this evening. There is a huge Dust Storm that originated in the Sahara and has crossed the ocean and is, apparently, passing through Texas today. The Skies could be pretty interesting.

That dust must be what made me tear up everytime I wrote my score down.

Getting ready to head out here in a few hours. Gotta get a few things done first but then gonna hit the road.

Good Funday Friday Pops and you weekenders, I am delighted to wish you a fine Funday Friday.

Well, here in the allergy capital of the US, it just got dust added to the load of crap humans don't need to breathe in the air. I heard they're sending the naughty people in hell here for the next few days. That alarmed some people but made me think I might get lucky. I hear they have lower standards.

OK, a week from today, won't be Funday Friday, it will be part of the 3 day weekend so next Thursday will be Funday Thursday and the entire alliteration week will be caddiwampus and I know how upsetting that may be to some of you but I do not make the rules. Actually, that's not true, this stupid alliteration days of the week is mine so let me change that to I do not apologize for the rules but I do for any inconvenience this might cause.

Morning, Pops and whomever drops in. Welcome to the weekend. We're going the sand and gravel yard today to pick out some rocks for our front flower beds. Golf was good yesterday after a horrendous start. I was five over par after the first 3 holes, and averaged par for the remainder of the nine holes. Made me happy.

Good morning Pops and weekenders. Today is Salacious Saturday, do your best to max it out for tomorrow is Sin No More Sunday........for y'all.

Well, my allergies got all disturbed over the dust cloud because they had newly arrived competition to make me miserable so they decided to amp up so I would awaken this morning sounding like Rudolph with that black thing on his nose.

To add to that, I woke up at 5:15 this morning, yes, I didn't know there were two of them and absolutely adore the one that notifies I am 15 minutes late for Happy Hour. This other one? Rather sleep through it but I jolted awake with the chills so you know the first thing I thought and spent the next 30 minutes playing the contact tracing interview and backtracking where I'd been and who I might have come in contact with so now I am wide awake and thinking of writing my own eulogy because that will be my last opportunity to get a laugh when it dawns on me to take my temp. Right where it always is 96.8, little low until I've surfed porn that day.

The good news is that if I'd been asked "old man about to expire, did you wear a mask"? I would cheerfully, as cheerfully as a man preparing to back slap the Grim Reaper and regale him with stories could be, answer that "yes, everywhere I went, I wore a mask". I cannot express my relief once I realized that I had done the right thing, just in case I did have it.

I don't like wearing a mask is an understatement, besides being claustrophobic, I am getting addicted to breath mints so I don't have halitosis poisoning. However, this morning was a full on awakening to just why I am making myself uncomfortable and the relief of knowing I did have a good mask on was indescribable. You can't go anywhere here where you will not encounter the prime targets for the worst part of this disease.

So, while I started this day earlier than intended and awakening that way was not fun, the day started really well. It's always a good day when you can say to yourself "I did the right thing".

Good early afternoon Pops and Popsadoodles. Congratulations on the golf math, Leon. I think I can safely speak for the rest of us that we're glad you are going rock shopping instead of us.

I'm glad Coach's temperature math is normal. Something weird is going around at work, so I know the feeling about "is it or isn't it Covid". When I went to the doctor's office two weeks ago, the receptionist told me I had to wait until her glasses became unfogged.

I'm waiting for Best Buy to deliver and install my new dish washer. It's a Bosch that I'd ordered late in May. I forgot the brand and was sitting at work sleepy when momma said she thought I'd enjoy my new Bosch. I looked at her funny and said I haven't bought any new shampoo.

The dust cloud has arrived and it's not very interesting beyond the dust of thousands of mummies and fleadoo dust off of camels. That stuff should have stayed put. We didn't invite it. I was so tired at work one day that I was allowed to leave early. I came straight home and went to bed. I woke up and didn't know if it was dusk or dawn. I stepped outside and couldn't tell. If it was dusk, I needed to stay uninvolved so I could go back to sleep. If it was dawn, I needed to rouse myself so I could get ready for work. It was dusk and I got to pack on several more hours of sleep. I still felt like sleeping more. Probably mummy poisoning.

Afternoon Pops and everyone.

@ABQCOWBOY, I'm still around. Not to be a downer, but been away dealing with a whole lot of a personal funk and still dealing.

Finding I'm not as strong as I used to be and sometimes feel like I'm on the losing end of it all. Lots of music around me with so many memories attached for very special reasons reminding me of how much I've lost in my life and making me realize how good things used to be... and I took it all for granted. Love to have some of those years, but mostly the people, back. It's hard to shake it when loneliness and what feels like a dark depression tries to take hold. Were it not for some of those I've lost, and one in particular, I would've been gone long before cancer got hold of me.

Idk. Whadya do (not asking, just wondering out loud)?

Enough about me. Short work week coming, which only means having to work harder in fewer days. Gave away all the bbq sauce I made a few weeks back and everyone's askng when the next batch is coming so I made more this morning and offering less. Keeping a little for myself this time. Stuff isn't cheap to make so it'd be nice to have some for me.

Off to the basement to do some cleaning and rearranging in the rooms I haven't gotten to yet.
