Morning, Pops and Cowboys fans. Welcome to the Weekend! My plan for today is to take it easy, watch some college football and sit on the back porch with a Dr. Pepper and watch it rain. Have a great weekend, everyone.

Good morning Pops and friend. I couldn't sleep, so I got up. I plan to send myself back to bed eventually, but have to unwind after some weird computer stuff freaked me out. I had been on YouTube looking for songs and had previously run across elementary school students being introduced to Queen. It was funny. I found a hip hop guy yesterday listening to Queen for the first time. He appreciated the heck out of it and was in awe of the crowds they performed in front of. I took it further to a break down of Freddie Mercury's vocal abilities. It gave me a greater appreciation for him.

Off to the side will always be videos that lead you down similar paths and some that don't fit at all. I clicked on one of those and it was asking if I believe in coincidence or a larger, nefarious plot to what happens in the world. I've got to say I was of the coincidence persuasion until the third story which started out with two young women killed 157 years apart on the exact same day, same time and I'm assuming same area. I'm drinking my hot chocolate to lull myself back to sleep when the screen goes black. I get back to the video page, but it refuses to load. Every hair on my head is standing straight up and I'm starting to wonder about this nefarious business. YouTube just yanked my chain big time!

I remember my great grandmother's funeral. The preacher raked our consciences across the coals as he told what a wonderful and under appreciated woman she was. I turned to my sister and said "He's trying to kill us" which was received with snickers and a sharp elbow in my ribs. He eventually made the statement that she died on the same day, same way and in the same bed that her husband had died many years before. She was gracious enough to die in early summer instead of July or August. That's when the tears come out of your arm pits.

This is what I get for clicking on random stuff in YouTube. Today is college football, so good luck to everyone and their teams.

It's amazing your family isn't but you are up there in New England, the realm of weird chili. And we might also assume from your previous posts and lack of participation in the what's on the menu thread that that ii the only thing your family trusts you with. My day started off really well as College Gameday, my only pregame show left, had as their celebrity guest picker a very late teen or early 20's Wish Kid named Owen who's wish was to be that celebrity picker. To top that off, the Aggie crowd chanted his name "Owen, Owen, Owen" as the show ended. I just can't get enough feel good moments shown to me and wish they'd find many more. We get enough negative fed to us, we need much more of the feel good. I know I do.
