Today is St. Nicholas Day, Gazpacho Day, International Miners Day, National Microwave Oven Day and lastly, National Pawnbrokers Day.
How do all of these fit, you ask? Well, if you are a Miner, you have the day off. You decide to treat yourself to a Bowl of Gazpacho on your day off. Problem is, it's Dec. 6th and cold as Bejesus outside, so who wants a cold bowl of Gazpacho right? No problem, you run right out to the local Pawnshop because you need a microwave to heat up the Gazpacho and you don't want to pay top dollar. You buy a deal on a MWO, but of course it comes with no warranty and it shorts out an burns your kitchen down. You are broke busted and have no cash to fix your house, No Good! But, never fear, just so happens that today is also St. Nicholas Day, Patron Saint noted for the fact that he gave up his considerable wealth to help the Poor. So.... lucky for you that it's the 6th and a true believe in St. Nick notices and swoops in and gets you a gig on "Kitchen Redo", the show that remodels kitchens and puts them on TV. So........ a kind of long day but all's well that ends well. In fact, here is your brand new, remodeled kitchen now!
(Oh, did I forget to mention, the Redo Kitchen show is in Bulgaria so yeah, this is the latest in remodeling there.)
And there you have it, that's how all the pieces fall into place on Dec. 6th.
