Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to all who stop in to check out the thread.

Weekend is upon us and it looks like we might have a few decent days in a row. Hopefully, the cold snap is over for awhile here.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John and Gramma, hope you all have something cool planned for the weekend, especially Sat. Would be great to watch a win and sit down to enjoy some good eats right?

Everybody, enjoy the weekend and be careful. Don't party too much when we win and get yourself arrested, or worse. Don't step out on a ledge if we lose and think it's the end of the world. Maybe the happy medium is to buy yourself a nice bottle of XO and just sit out on the ledge and sip whisky slowly while you enjoy the evening air?

How have you been? Yeah, it's been really cold here for about 10 days now. Single digits in the evenings and highs in the teens or low to mid 20s. Looks like it's broken today though. We have a day with nothing but Sunshine forecasted, haven't seen that for awhile. Supposed to get up to 38 today so that's really good considering.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. It's game day!

Yesterday warmed up and I was able to play a round of golf. I got to do a lot of walking because carts were not allowed on the fairways due to all the rain we had in the previous two days. More often than not my ball ended up on the far side of the fairway lol. I had to shut my left eye when hitting the ball because the gas bubble in my eye hasn't completely gone away yet and it was distorting my vision when looking down. We had a great time though.

Morning Pops. Busy day today to be sure I get everything done that's needed. Church is Saturday (tonight) early evening and I should be home just in time for kickoff... thinking I should see if I can get us a little help for the game . I have my grandson tomorrow for most of the day so I figure tomorrow is claimed. Hope you all have a wonderful day and we get the results we want tonight.

Morning Pops! What a fabulous game! I was going to go to church yesterday and ask for "extra help" with yesterday's game, buuuut didn't make it. Mom totaled her truck and while everyone was okay it took more time running around getting release forms from the P.D. to gain access to the truck in the towyard so we could get her hay bales and of course getting her back home etc... it just didn't pan out. So happy with the outcome of the game though. As for who I'd prefer to go up against... undecided. Can't pull for the Bears (long story) and would love to see the Eagles run end today. I wouldn't be disappointed if we landed in New Orleans instead of La-La Land. Have a great day everyone. Time for me to run out to spend the day with my rambunctious 4-year-old grandson.

Well, most would want PHL to win so the Cowboys wouldn't have to go to NO but not me. My hatred for everything Eagles trumps any trepidation of playing the Saints on their turf. Besides, what better hype than the D that spanked Brees coming back for more?

WE WON!!!!! Afternoon Pops and friends. WE WON!!!!!! Did you see the white out conditions in AT&T? We were represented! I got so sick to my stomach over Hurns' injury that I couldn't enjoy watching their kicker limp off the field. I thought about offering them our kicker.

Coach, I don't know if I can root for those players in green either. I enjoyed my first A Rodgers commercial yesterday during the game. Just watching and knowing we won't have to deal with him. Verizon and Chevy still irk me though.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. Southern California was hit with mudslides over the weekend. I'm hoping that next weekend they have bunch of blue stars invade their stadium and demolishe their football team.

Well, some got their wish, we're not playing NO this weekend.

Honestly, I didn't think any of the 4 playoff games were played well but the Cowboys were the only one to win as the home team and it is usually no more than 2 of the 4 games won by the visitor.

The game against the Ram will be a matchup of opposites. They have a very good O but slack jawed D except for their two DT's.

Morning Pops and friends. I'm still buzzing from our victory. I didn't want to take any of my "football rooting mojo" away from the Cowboys and apply it to the Eagles. I decided to line shelves instead of watch the Bears/Eagles game. I would peek in. I watched the last two minutes and hope no good mojo slipped out. I got in some quality organizing this weekend with the nervous energy about us in the play offs. I decided to throw away some of the pillows I've amassed in recent years. It backfired! I now have seven pillows on the bed to go through the process of elimination. The more expensive the pillow, the harder it is to throw away. Xelda's Law

I stepped out this morning to greet a glorious day that took me back to my September trips to Florida. It's 60 with 85% humidity. If only the sound of waves swatting the dock could be heard. The beaches weren't crowded and the sun was in a forgiving mood. The water was pleasant with an occasional chilly under current. The ocean breeze, salty air and birds that didn't care about your presence. Those were glorious weeks.
