Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who either have stopped in or might stop in.

Think we are going to have a cloudy day again today. Got snow yesterday but it was light so no big deal. Did manage to get my self sick though. Son brought the crud over to the house and of course, I caught it.

What's everybody up to today? Hard at it, back at work, for me.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John and Gramma, have a great day today.

Everybody, be well!

Afternoon Pops and friends. I sharpened a knife this morning and will now sing U2's lesser known song Tuesday, Bloody Tuesday. I just can't be trusted with sharp objects. Looks like peg board season has started since my Cowboys mojo has been spent. In my very best Grinch voice "We must stop the Patriots from winning, but how?". I am preparing to get into verbal combat with Saints fan that wants to give me grief. Blue bloods don't just hop on anyone's band wagon.

RGV, don't be passive with splinters. You've got to show them who's boss! It's an alien resting just below the surface sucking up all your nutrients. Get it OWT!

Sorry to hear you're sick, ABQ. Family means sharing what they've got even when you don't want it.
Well, it's pre hump day so plan accordingly. Save as much energy as humanly possible to contend with Wednesday's problems.

Good afternoon, one and all and if you think you're the one, you are correct.

RGV battling splinters, ABQ battling the crud and Xelda battling knives and all losing. Hell, Runny and I let people cut on us while we were sleeping, got Runny's wing and my leg but do you hear us moaning? Got to tough it out, stand tall and look the crud, knives and splinters in the face and laugh the laugh of the undefeated.

OK, enough getting in your face like Kris Richard, sorry y'all have booboo's and owies. Hector says "hey", he's gonna be a good hip someday.

Good afternoon Pops and all my good friends. Today has been a good day. Helping a buddy remodel the bathroom of a rent house. Even got another splinter in my other thumb but it’s little, should have no problem getting that one out. I’m a splinter magnet this week.

You’re right Xelda, I need to get “ Mr Oh” splinter OWT. It’s not infected but my thumb keeps sending these nagging signals to my brain.
Ok so we don’t want the Saints or patriots to win, got it. Rooting for the Rams and Chiefs.

CC, regards to Hector. Is hector made of metal? If he is be sure and stay away from sharp magnets. Runny, get back to 100% so you can get off IR. We’ll need you on the field next season. ABQ, get some rest and eat chicken soup. Leon, enjoy the sunshine brother. No sun here today. Gramma, how did the roast turn out?

Go Cowboys :flagwave:

Morning, Pops and good morning everyone. My buddies are playing golf today and I'm planning on riding around with them and do some chipping and putting which is within my doctor's orders. I hope everyone's ailments get better. We are like a mash unit here lately. Have a nice day, everyone.

Good morning, one and all. Looking forward to another fantastic day in the Colorado front range... a very pleasant 25 F now creeping up to a sunny 45 F today.

Headed to San Antonio next week to see family. What's the weather like there?
I live 3-4 hours north of there but the forecast is for highs in the high 50's and 60's.

Morning Pops and those celebrating January 16, 2019. We should all celebrate it because we're only getting one. Especially since it fell on a Hump Day.

I am not excited about the playoff games and that's not because the Cowboys aren't playing because I wasn't much into that game. I do not find football special any longer and that may be because of the oversaturation and I watch so much of it that it has become boring. Doesn't help all of the "look at me" crap the players keep doing or the begging for flags. What happened to just getting back in the huddle or on the line for the next play? I do miss that part of the old game, players made plays because they were paid to do that, it was expected. I do not mind them celebrating with each other but the playing to crowd or TV audience is wearing me out.

If the Pats are in the SB, I will not watch and this wouldn't be the first SB I missed. It's just a game and they try to make it more and hype it into the ground and the halftime entertainment is totally unnecessary. Especially having all those people around the stage attempting to create a concert atmosphere, it's the same every year.

OK, rant over, for now, but I do reserve the right to re-rant at a future date.

We expect you and Runny to be tough. The rest of us are mortal, show a little mercy and why am I thinking about chicken for lunch now? I still think Hector is a trouble maker and bad to the bone.

RGV, put some gloves on or we'll let Coach give your splinters names. Woody is not allowed, so get creative.
ABQ, chicken soup has mysterious healing qualities for what ails you.
Good luck on the course today, Leon.
ColoCowboy be safe on your trip to San Antonio and back. Wishing you a lot of good music and uneventful traffic on your trip.
Coach, rant has been noted and re-rant option approved.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. I have a follow-up appt. with the eye doc, to see how my retina is healing this morning. The newest gas bubble is starting to dissipate so maybe I'll be able to see out of that eye again soon. It was nice to have the sunshine yesterday afternoon. It was starting to feel dreary after all those overcast days. Have a great day, everyone.

Morning Pops and kiddies of all ages. I guess quite a few have bailed on the site since the Cowboys are out of it and they're left to quoting Booger out in the gen pop. Sad, sad times indeed. The only thing I want to hear from that old coot is "goodbye". Bad enough he speaks but must every moronic quote be shared here?

Soooooooo, I will limit my trips to gen pop and hang in the Members Zone and of course, the wonderfully delicious Off-Topic Zone where I am never considered such. What an oasis in the desert of everything's critically important for the OTZ is where our fertile minds are allowed to wander and wonder at what is, what might have been and the possibilities are limitless.

Afternoon Pops and friends. What a wonderful thread to create, Coach! What's the last thing you want to hear Booger say? The sun came out today and it's 68 here. After all the nervous energy of the playoffs, I don't need to organize anything. Time to refill the bird feeder.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. The doc cleared me to play golf so I'm going to play today. I'll have to close my left eye when I swing because the bubble of gas distorts the view, but at least it's golf. Or my version of it anyway. Y'all have a good day doing whatever you are doing today,.

Wow! That's dedication; I can't play with two functioning eyes, much less one.
Congratulations.

Good morning one and all. A quiet day at home while we brace for another snow storm later this afternoon.

Morning pops, ladies, gentlemen and esteemed colleagues...Happy Friday to all.
Been awhile since I've navigated toward this wonderful thread, but here nonetheless.

Off-season is upon us. I for one enjoyed this season and was thoroughly entertained. I actually am optimistic and looking forward to seeing more improvements.

I got my eye on Harper the next couple of days. We in Western NY are constantly told "No, really...THIS is going to be a monster winter storm." So we'll see what it brings.
