Didn't I tell you those were good cookies? I've only had one cookie in my life that could compete with these. A white chocolate & cherry cookie from Christy's in Nashville a couple of days after Michael Irvin got hurt in Philly. This cookie was that good! Besides, I don't share just average cookie recipes with y'all. Only the best I can get my hands on for fellow Cowboy fans.

Thank God we were able to get her to the Hospital and she received treatment quickly. Still not out of the Woods, she is in ICU but she has a fight chance now.

Headed back shortly so probably another lengthy day but hopefully, all works out well.

Morning Pops, and hey there all the guys and gals in Cowboysland!

It's Thursday, the day between Humpday and Friday...the only thing significant about Thursday is that it's payday for most people, myself included, until next week, when they start doing it on Fridays. Why are they switching it up? I don't know, mind your own business! That's not what I want to talk about anyway.

The other significant Thursday event is "All you can eat wings" at Hooters. That's probably significant to somebody, so I thought I'd mention it, just in case you needed a reminder to go stuff your face for $15.

I haven't been there in ages! I remember loving their Buffalo shrimp.

And, um, enjoy those wings, Runny! :)
 
Good morning Pops and friends. Thursday decided to start extra early and I'm not entirely sure I appreciate it. The news feed at the bottom of Good Morning America said the Patriots have suffered more injuries. It's cool outside after the heavy rains yesterday. Maybe we can finally get comfortable temperatures for a bit. Now's the time to attack the yard! Come on feet, time to head outside. Feet said "NO!". They also asked what's on TV. I'm not sure if I should tell them. Hey Runny, why are they moving payday to Friday? I'm not asking for myself, my feet want to know. Work up an appetite so you can get your $15 worth.

No no, I don't do "all you can eat". I have to try to maintain my girlish figure, especially since I can't work out until I get this arthritis under control.
Xelda, quit procrastinating, and do your yardwork!
 
ABQ, I missed your post about your Aunt yesterday and hope she is recovering and I never heard of an allergic reaction causing a heart attack. Best to you and your family through this trying time.
 
Good morning Pops and fellow Thirsty Thursday devotees. Actually, every day is Thirsty _____day for me but Tuesdays and Thursdays are special because of my attachment to alliteration. God help me, I love it so.

Haven't been to the Hospital this morning yet. We kinda set up a routine, we have folks there from the family the whole time. We kinda take shifts and mine is later in the evening. But you are right, it is great news! Thank you RWB.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any and all who stop in this way before the weekend.

Good news with my Aunt, she has been moved out of the ICU and will be monitored for a while but God willing, can be discharged soon.

How is everybody doing today? I have no real news to share on recipes etc., haven't really done much cooking this week so I'll have to figure out what we can do this weekend and report back.
