Honestly I don't like the fit....clogs the lane for both centers. Sixers should have held on to Reddick...and Butler.

He spaces the floor for them because he’s actually decent from deep. The Sixers can play some inside out with him and Embid.

Sixers took the Raptors to 7 games and lost at the buzzer. Is their roster better with Richardson and Horford replacing Reddick and Butler?

Losing Reddick hurts them. Butler is a star and a closer, but trading him out for Horford who is more of a steady influence could help.

Im curious to see how front court minutes are distributed. Horford lets you rest Embiid more if thats something they still plan on

He gives the Dubs a legit third scorer behind Klay and Steph. That said, I think they are woefully thin in talent at forward and center. Would like to see them pick up an inside out guy like Brooks Lopez or someone similar. I just don’t know if Cousins is the same guy post injury.
Deep in FA they should be able to find good specialists at the vet min

He could have been that guy in Philly....I think the Sixers just got worse today...not better w/ their moves. On another topic...I hope Kawhi Leonard stays w/ Toronto. That was a fun team to watch....but if the rumors are true...He's gonna take the money to LA....Grizzlies are gonna buy out
Andre Iguodala... and join the Lakers as well.
According to Trevor Booker. Who is nobody

Just in case D'Angelo and Reggie sign somewhere else, at least Knicks got a nice player in Randle and a decent player in Gibson so it is better than nothing

If all we were going to do is add Randle, then I’d honestly rather tank again. But I don’t think Randle precludes that given how poor he is defensively.

We’re collecting PFs who don’t play defense...may as well throw some money at Jabari Parker. Then we’ll have the entire potpourri of pathetic.

Landed Bullock...Russell would have been nice.

But I don’t get all the Power Forwards. Not to mention, all three players more or less do the same thing to varying degrees. None of them play defense, and none truly stretch the floor on the offensive end. Portis is better than Gibson there, with Randle in between, but none are a real threat. They rebound well and and score down low, but meh...

No, I think that he didn't want to play with Embiid and Simmons and wants to be a max guy as the lead player.

Kawhi Leonard going to the Lakers would turn me off the NBA completely. I have prepared myself for LeBron front running to another ring though before he retires.

As a die hard Celtic fan, losing Al hurts but losing him to a rival, hurts even worse. Right or wrong, this is how Trader Danny operates. He was taught by one of the best to ever walk an NFL sideline in Belichick. They both let their aging stars walk while replacing them with younger & cheaper talent. IMO, Philly drastically overpaid for AL whose body is deteriorating. With that being said, I'm not sure how many games we'll see Al & Embid on the floor together with Al needing so many maintenance days per month and with Embid's injury history. I'll miss Al.

Kawhi only dude in league who didn't violate tampering rules lol.
His decision will shape a lot about the league.

Mavs: At this point they are rooting for LAL. That dries up their money and leaves one less team with cap space.
And there is no way I take on 20M of salary form MIA for nothing. MIA and PHI need to tip Mavs in that deal IMHO
Dragic+DJJ+a PHI 2nd? I'm in. Otherwise good luck finding a 3rd team who will eat 20M.

That Horford contract is just terrible. He is one heck of a 4th guy but paying your 4th option that salary is quite mad.
Especially as a time when metrics suggest bigs are largely interchangeable 10M parts.
BOS was big winner in all this IMHO. Kyrie is high maintenance, crazy and moody. He's essentially a hot girl.
Kemba just wants to win and will let Brad actually coach.

PHI... right now they are in a weird spot as Jimmy isn't returning but MIA lacks cap space to make the trade. 20M in cap room isn't an easy get right now.
Both PHI and MIA need to step up if they want that deal to go through.

Kawhi isnt going to the Lakers. Clippers and Raptors I think are the options.

100% agree. In a perfect world, LA would fall into the ocean so the rest of the NBA can remain competitive and interesting to watch. This Kawhi to LA rumor is picking up traction and would ruin the entire league if it becomes reality. How disappointing.

wherever Kawhi goes becomes the immediate favorite tbh. TOR is defending and LAL would be set with the best big 3 of all-time. BUT that big 3 would be starting at 0 to add pieces and may take a year to fill out a roster kinda like the original Heat big 3 lost year 1.
The change makes it fun to watch these new teams and see what they do.
MIL and PHI look really good in East. BOS arguably better. BK after a year when KD is back.
Cycles run fast. LBJ is not prime LBJ anymore.
Not sure AD is the kind of guy that can handle LA glare tbh. He's never been criticized.
We shall see how that all goes.

I think Kawhi back to TOR on a 1+1 makes the most sense.
Next year is terrible for FA and Kawhi could again dictate everything.
TOR with him returning has the best shot to win it all whereas in LAL they are looking for buy outs and minimum wage vets to fill out roster.

It "feels" like LAL was 3rd place and got first pitch via Magic but only because of Magic.
Maybe he bought LAL an official visit or maybe not.
Clips likely get today and TOR tomorrow or TUES.

Whatever the case Kawhi will be a happy man having controlled his own fate.
And again I still lean to him returning to TOR short term.
