If not for 5 terrible minutes in game 2, we might be watching a sweep. And Toronto would be 6-0 against Golden State this season.

Draymond green is such a dirty player. Leans back on Siakams ankle. What a disgrace

I've hated him for years...dirtiest player in the league by far. If I was Steven Adams...the year OKC vs Golden st.....and he blatantly kicked Adams in the nuts...I seriously think I would have beat the crap out of him for the whole nation to watch. Just pummeled him.

Anyway...GS is in trouble. I said it before the series started...Toronto matches up w/ GS...while when GS is on defense...It's a mismatch. I'd run that high pick and role to death come game 5. GS switches that every time...and who is left to defend the paint? Curry..It's a mismatch. He can't defend a guy 6'9 down there...worse case scenerio...you get him in foul trouble.

You gotta give Toronto credit...they haven't been intimidated..even when GS goes on a run...or when they get down. I'm starting to think even if Durant comes back...GS is still in trouble defensively. Toronto was a step ahead all night long on offense.

I'm happy someone not in toronto saw the referees trying everything they could to keep GSW in the game. It was a disgrace

Honestly..I don't have a dog in the fight...I just want to see a fair called game...that the outcome isn't dictated because of one sided refereeing...and time and again...the Warriors always seem to get the benefit of the doubt...or get away w/ blatant fouls.

So, Durant out Game 4. I suspect he will not play at all. If Warriors don't somehow win that game, then Toronto takes it in 5.

Maybe he did hurt his Achilles.

Toronto up 3-1 in the series...as an OKC fan.....I've seen a team up like this before only to get screwed in the end. Just saying.

Kinda sad that there's a very good chance that Toronto will be a terrible team next year with Kahwi leaving and Gasol, Green and Lowrey getting traded to free up cap space. I don't know what more a team can do to be competitive. The Knicks and Lakers can do everything wrong and get rewarded while the Raptors and Thunder can do everything right and get punished.

While we have certainly seen the Knicks do everything wrong, I can't fathom what reward you may be referencing...

Bird was right, the league is heavily biased against small market teams.
I consider NBA only one step above pro wrestling though too.

So serious question...does Golden State losing make Kevin Durant more likely to stay? He'll certainly get more credit than he has in the past. Especially if they come back and win down 3-1

Forgot to mention the Warriors are also missing Looney who plays a key role off the bench.

They’ve been hammered with injuries.

The Warriors have very solid depth. The problem is they play very specific roles; Iguadala is a defensive specialist; Livingston is a facilitator; et cetera. The problem is none of those guys are a prolific scorer. Cook is the closest thing to that and he’s a 6’-2” guard.

Like I said you take away Lowry, Gasol, and Paschal the Raptors wouldn’t be competing either.

The depth isn’t the problem; injuries to the starters all at once is.

Everyone was there last night except KD

Now what's the excuse?

Good series. About as I expected tbh.
GSW injuries piling up but they still have so much firepower.
GSW can survive scoring droughts but TOR really can't.

Yes, 3-1 Toronto

about as you "expected it" LOL

:lmao2:

They're almost certainly gonna have a superstar next year, maybe even two or three. And if the Raptors get completely gutted, that can put the Knicks in the driver's seat in the East.

As a Knicks fan, KD and Kawhi would be foolish to trust the inept Knicks front office. So I’ll believe it when I see it

I hope he stays in Toronto. That was one of the best trades in a long time. I was tired of seeing teams sign a bunch of superstars to make a super team. Toronto traded a star for a superstar. They also developed Siacim (spelling) into a deadly sidekick. I hope it lasts longer than a year.

Reports are he is staying but not long term..2-3 years or something. He bought a 12 million dollar home here. So I would assume he is staying lol

Canadian here. I'm not the biggest NBA fan...but I am enjoying these Raptors. Might as well declare Monday a national holiday in Canada...not much productivity happening Monday. LOL. Go Raptors.
