reading cnn right now and a story on here said that it was something like zimmerman asked him what he was doing here, trayvon said "do you have a problem", zimmeman said "no" and trayvon said "well you do now" and punched him in the nose, taking him to the ground.

the new cnn video says that its also possible trayvon was going for zimmermams gun.

now if this is true, some kid just attacked you physically, banged your head against the ground and is now going for your gun.

not saying this is what happened, not at all. more facts still have to come out, not speculation.

the video:

I agree. Problem I had was when this was 1st reported none of this stuff was being mentioned. It was a 1 sided report. Zimmerman chased him down confronted him and then shot him. Now it does not seem so clear cut that this is what took place.

And you could easily say Martin going over to Zimmerman lead to it. You seem to dismiss that. Yes Zimmerman says he is following and is told to stop he says OK and now is going back to his vehicle so then why would Martin go towards Zimmerman. It is not as if Zimmerman had him trapped with no way out. You said he was a short distance from his father home then go home, why confront?

MOre light will come to this case, If I'm wrong I will admit that I was wrong.

The police said today that Zimmerman's version, and the eyewitness's, are corroborated by the evidence.

The truth is, we will never know for certain the minute details of what happened in the altercation.

New investigators have taken over and will decide whether or not Zimmerman will be arrested and charged.

No need to admit anything ....... we are all just guessing.

It is not a matter of you are wrong or I am wrong. It is a matter of fair justice. If Zimmerman did what has been accused then he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. However if things are not as they seem off the intial reports then he should not be jailed but in the meantime you have a 10,000 dollar bounty being placed on Zimmerman by the Black Panthers.

This is not rushing to judgment before all of the facts on all sides are released? I see no difference between the two sides.

The assumption of innocence isn't a "rush to judgement". It's a fundamental part of our legal system. Trayvon's supporters are the ones who are rushing to judgement by calling for Zimmerman's arrest. Arbitrarily arresting someone without sufficient evidence of a crime is a travesty of justice, and it goes against everything America stands for.

I would think they would be lible for any harm that comes to Zimmerman should someone go out looking for a 10,000 dollar reward. Why this group can openly do this is beyond me.

You know what? The guy who put this bounty out for Zimmer the CEO of the so called Black Panther Party was arrested over the weekend.

The convicted felon was found armed to the teeth w/ a handgun.

Can you imagine that? Woo... my stars and garters!!! I am just shocked! Has it been reported on CNN/MSNBC/ABC?

I don't know

Zimmerman could be tried for Murder 2 or Manslaughter despite witnesses supporting his claims or he might not be charged at all and remain a free man.'

I do trust that no matter what the outcome that the New investigators will do a through and fair investigation from all sides

How is it even legal to place a Bounty on someone's head? I know that families give rewards when a loved one is missing and they want information but that's different from inciting people to play cops and arrest Zimmerman. That should not be allowed.

I hope so I really do want to see Justice done here. After a while I get the feeling some may think I'm so cold guy who does not care about this kid or his family. That is not the case but I do care about our rights as US citizens that we are all innocent until proven guilty and it is not the defendant who has to prove he is innocent but the state that has to prove guilt. I know if I was sitting in a court I would hope like hell that Jury believed in this basic right and I'm sure everyone hear would want the same for themselves.

As for the Black Panthers I did not think it was legal to do this. Now Martin family has said this is wrong and asked them not to do this but the Black Panthers are ignoring the family wishes.

Arresting someone isn't a rush to judgment. Hell there is evidence of a homicide, he just claims self-defence as anyone in his position would do. The problem is the rush to judgment came from the authorities who said oh ok, you say it was self-defence so no charge. A jury should be allowed to decide if it is self-defence or not, not a person at the charge approval stage.

Black Panthers, Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson = trouble. The mom is copyrighting and already trying to make money from this. I have read that they want to start a "movement".

I refuse to draw any conclusions. I just want to know the truth.

He was 70 yards away from his father's girlfriends place armed with a bag of Skittles and a bottle of iced tea. It appears that is all that he was doing.

bull****.

2 black kids wet a white kid on fire cause he was white.

you either hold all racial standards to the same baseline, or you don't.

get mad at an injustice or cry foul

then throw the book at them, it has no bearing on the fat guy killing the black teenager

so would *every* killing in self defense have to go to trial?
