I've seen a flyer for a wack party in NC with his face all over it. Caption reads "In memory of" but nothing about proceeds benefiting the family.

It's bull.

I read on a FB from two different who live in two different cities talking about how disgusted they are at the people peddling t-shirts from this.

It's disgusting.

There are already scumsuckers out there trying to make money off of this. People have been peddling t-shirts, putting his face and name on flyers for crappy parties.

With none of the proceeds to cover any of the legal fees associated with this stuff.

I agree and listed to a talk show host who said this was the right thing to do on her part so she will have some control over her sons name and say so on people looking to make money off of this

The SPD is not suppose to be leaking out this information that supports Zimmermans Defense. Watching CNN the woman (Can't think of her name right now) help taking over the investigation of this case wants them to stop leaking information because it's not suppose to happen.

I was thinking the same thing.

I think no doubt she will profit off those trademarks but the main issue right now is that she doesn't want someone else to profit off her dead son. And I understand that. Absolutely disgusting to turn tragedy into personal gain without any sort of consideration for the family.

reading cnn right now and a story on here said that it was something like zimmerman asked him what he was doing here, trayvon said "do you have a problem", zimmeman said "no" and trayvon said "well you do now" and punched him in the nose, taking him to the ground.

the new cnn video says that its also possible trayvon was going for zimmermans gun.

now if this is true, some kid just attacked you physically, banged your head against the ground and is now going for your gun.

not saying this is what happened, not at all. more facts still have to come out, not speculation.

True Trayvon is not around to defend himself. So we may not really know truly everything.


I don't know if Zimmerman really didn't have a problem. But he at least had enough of a problem with Trayvon being there to call the cops on him. We know that for sure

Zimmerman's lawyer told one news network, I don't remember which one, that he does expect charges to be filed. This was a couple of days ago though.

SInce the Lead Investigator recommended Manslaughter but got turned down or over ruled I wonder it that's what he will be charged with and not murder.

If he is charged with manslaughter however, I think it likely means that they aren't buying his story of being attacked.

If they aren't buying that story, then I think something more than manslaughter should be given.

If you are at the point where Zimmerman confronted Trayvon and instigated the altercation, I don't think manslaughter is enough. I don't know what would be above it without being murder but starting a conflict in which you are getting your *** whipped and end up shooting someone should be more than just manslaughter.

In Florida, 3rd Degree Murder doesn't require the requisite intent to kill, which satisfies your last question as well given the elements of the crime according to statute.
