Partial Packers moves reported, including Harrell to IR
Though the team has yet to make any official announcements on the matter, the folks at the Green Bay Press Gazette have tracked down the majority of the moves.
With 10 more to go, here's what the Packers have done.
Cornerback Pat Lee (knee), and defensive end Justin Harrell (back) have been placed on injured reserve. Harrell was a first-round pick in 2007, and he recently has suggested that his career might be over.
Cut are defensive lineman Dean Muhtadi, tackle Dane Randolph, defensive end Ronald Talley, cornerback Trevor Ford, linebacker Cyril Obiozor, quarterback Brian Brohm, tackle Andrew Hartline, running back Tyrell Sutton,
tackle Jamon Meredith, and running back Kregg Lumpkin.
Meredith was a fifth-round pick in the 2009 draft. Brohm, as previously mentioned, was dumped despite his second-round pedigree in 2008.
Two years ago, as the college football season was beginning, Brohm was regarded as a candidate to be the first overall pick in the draft.
I'd take a flyer on Meredith - he couldn't be any worse than what they kept.
