That does not make Goodell look good if in fact he knew Roberts position.

Goodell's objective is already completed which was to come down hard on DV.

Now however it subsides he can say the NFL did their part in enforcing the policy and attempting to protect the image of the league .

Ignoring he lead investigator is not a smart move. Removing her information from the report was not smart. Not including her in the final meeting to determine if Zeke should be suspended is not smart. It all points to the NFL having an agenda and bending the facts to meet said agenda.
