The kid is being childish ...... but I cannot wait till the players get him tomorrow for the way he looked tonight.

I guarantee some of the leaders will not take kindly to his disregard and disrespect.

Thats the thing. Fasano wont fail. Hes going to be a solid player in this league for a long time. That much is evident.

He just didn't turn into Jason Witten and your joe blow fan will call him a disapointment/bust.

Fasanos a good, solid football player and you need guys like him.

We are in a position that we took a guy who could be better than Fasano or even Witten if he developed a bigtime work ethic.

With or without Bennett though we are more than fine. Its his choice on how good he wants to be.

Either you, I or both of us misunderstood the other. I think.

I don't think Fasano will fail. But I can't predict anything. Most of us haven't seen enough of him.

Bennett obviously has the measurables to beat Fasano out. Right now he looks uncoachable. But we saw what they wanted us to see. Pouting, disrespect, and in general a poor attitude. Perhaps that's him 5% of the time. Or maybe that's him 95% of the time.

And I quote from tonight's episode:

"Mentally I'm just gone sometimes."

Unbelievable. This guy is as close to a wash as you can get without having played a regular season game.

someone on the team needs to kick his *** and give him a reality check :)

anyway, i didnt see the other thread about Tellus. My bad.

I don't mean to take sides in the argument but that doesn't explain why Tony Curtis had 3 TDs last year.

tomson75;2191672 said:
He was a situational player. The cowboys obviously felt he was a bigger red zone threat than Fasano...albeit not a well rounded enough tight end to take the #2 spot away form him....despite Fasano's apparent stupidsisity.

Thanks. Curtis' output isn't statistically different than Fasano's I'd bet. All of Curtis' catches were TDs. I don't think he has a catch that hasn't been a TD. That's off the top of my head though. His catch/TD ratio is close enough to one that you should consider him the equivalent of a certain NE player.

Whiten needs to mind his own business and do his job. let the coaches handle this kid.i never wanted to draft this guy or any TE this high. not with a 2nd round pick.so if you are going to blame anyone, blame Jerry and Wade for drafting this guy in the first place.

Moron since day 1 and i doubt a Cowboys fan.

Bennett is a prime example of someone that was not ready to leave college. I would bet anyone here 1000 Zimbabwe dollars that he will be a bust. Dude is just one of those guys that "cant get right". He is a lollygagger

I damn sure would if he doesnt do a complete 180. A veteran squad doesnt need that **** to permeate their team. Just cut your losses, chalk it up as a wasted 2nd round pick and move on

How many threads are you people going to start on this kid? he's not getting cut. teams dont cut number 2 picks before they play a game. dont blame the kid, blame Jerry and Wade. they never should have drafted a TE that high in the first place.

I love how you conveniently left out the fact that they had fewer receptions and significantly fewer yards. But hey, whatever helps your agenda, right?

Perhaps by people like yourself, but most rational fans would simply realize that they're role players...not superstars, regardless of where they were drafted.

So high on Fasano? Who? People simply don't buy into the 'he sucks' analytical philosophy, and they're suddenly the founders of his fan club? I don't think so.

I've never seen a staff member come out and say this. Can you provide a link? Not that it wasn't true, because Curtis has shown some decent potential, but as far as I know, this is purely speculation by fans and some media members.

I left it out because i actually dont care about the number of yards. Tightend normally are the most dangerous players in the redzone, and thats the packages that feature two TE sets. These Backup players obviously where more effective in that area. And to that point i beleive thats probably one of the reasons that Curtis would have beat him out. The coaching staff believed that Curtis would have beat him out any way, which would have basically left him on the side line the majority of the season. So why wouldnt you trade someone who is just going to be bench pretty much the whole season for a 4th round pick. Thats the point. Fasano is a bust just like Carp is a bust. Face it.

I hope that is not the best argument you can make. Fasano did his job. Do you actually believe they were going to NOT throw the ball to Witten and the rest of the WRs and RBs to give this guy some love. His job was to block and decoy. And occasionally get his number called when the other side started to cheat too much. If you were talking about Fasano not being able to block or be a #2 TE on a team with a Witten then I'd be willing to listen more.

If he gets on the field as the #1 TE in Miami and fails then you can gloat.

Sure, Fasano was willing to block and he was a hard worker but that doesnt mean he was actually good at it, cause he wasnt. Plain and simple. So face it, he sucked.

The reason Fasano was traded was because he couldn't/wouldn't play ST's. Nothing to do with his ability as a player.

Believe what you want, but it has been reported several times by Eatman and Spagnola on their "radio" shows.

Backups have to contribute to ST's. Fasano didn't....

1,578 views.... more people like to discuss the negatives then all the other positive things hard knocks had.

Controversy sells, that's what most people like... The soap operas.

This guy might just be targeted for that in this show, and most start to judge.
