He just didn't turn into Jason Witten and your joe blow fan will call him a disapointment/bust.
Fasanos a good, solid football player and you need guys like him.
We are in a position that we took a guy who could be better than Fasano or even Witten if he developed a bigtime work ethic.
With or without Bennett though we are more than fine. Its his choice on how good he wants to be.

"Mentally I'm just gone sometimes."
Unbelievable. This guy is as close to a wash as you can get without having played a regular season game.

tomson75;2191672 said:He was a situational player. The cowboys obviously felt he was a bigger red zone threat than Fasano...albeit not a well rounded enough tight end to take the #2 spot away form him....despite Fasano's apparent stupidsisity.

zrinkill;2191704 said:The kid is being childish ...... but I cannot wait till the players get him tomorrow for the way he looked tonight.
I guarantee some of the leaders will not take kindly to his disregard and disrespect.
irvin88;2191716 said:cut him.
How many threads are you people going to start on this kid? he's not getting cut. teams dont cut number 2 picks before they play a game. dont blame the kid, blame Jerry and Wade. they never should have drafted a TE that high in the first place.ZB9;2191717 said:I damn sure would if he doesnt do a complete 180. A veteran squad doesnt need that **** to permeate their team. Just cut your losses, chalk it up as a wasted 2nd round pick and move on

tomson75;2191628 said:I love how you conveniently left out the fact that they had fewer receptions and significantly fewer yards. But hey, whatever helps your agenda, right?
Perhaps by people like yourself, but most rational fans would simply realize that they're role players...not superstars, regardless of where they were drafted.
So high on Fasano? Who? People simply don't buy into the 'he sucks' analytical philosophy, and they're suddenly the founders of his fan club? I don't think so.
I've never seen a staff member come out and say this. Can you provide a link? Not that it wasn't true, because Curtis has shown some decent potential, but as far as I know, this is purely speculation by fans and some media members.
jobberone;2191654 said:I hope that is not the best argument you can make. Fasano did his job. Do you actually believe they were going to NOT throw the ball to Witten and the rest of the WRs and RBs to give this guy some love. His job was to block and decoy. And occasionally get his number called when the other side started to cheat too much. If you were talking about Fasano not being able to block or be a #2 TE on a team with a Witten then I'd be willing to listen more.
If he gets on the field as the #1 TE in Miami and fails then you can gloat.
Arch Stanton;2191742 said:The reason Fasano was traded was because he couldn't/wouldn't play ST's. Nothing to do with his ability as a player.
