No, but Wright hasn't shown himself to be any better as a corner and is not as good on special teams. Maybe we cut both.

However, if Lewis starts out on PUP, we do need a slot backup and Joseph did play well in the slot in the preseason, other than the offsides. Wright doesn't play slot. Not sure if Scott does, either.

In all seriousness, we could’ve sent the chargers a 2035 7th round pick for him and people in here would’ve said it was a huge risk.

Yeah, out of those five, I think the only one who has a chance to really make it eventually is Grier. These guys think they can just get by on their given talent, and start getting complacent. The NFL is a grind obviously. I have respect for anyone who can hang in there at that level of the game.

He could also end up as a PS player this year, right? If that happens, I can see him going to Dallas or San Fran. I think both of those teams will keep an extra QB around the PS just in case. At least, I would..

My question is, who is Seth Green? Did he ever have a chance?

And I why do I anticipate a tiny bit of regret for cutting Grier? I think because if you asked me who was better, Grier or Lance, I'd say I don't know yet. Neither of them jumps off the tape to me. I would take Jaren Hall over both, actually. I still think that dude got underdrafted this year. We shall see.
