Looks like Bohanna cut

I have Bohanna going on the PS because I don't think he showed enough for anyone to claim him. But, of course, there's the thought that there are only so many big men on the planet, so someone might give him a chance.

I really don't understand, though, why anyone thought we would keep him on the 53. He's strictly an NT and we re-signed Hankins and drafted Mazi for that role. Not going to keep three NTs on the roster.

We used him some in the slot this preseason and he got beat several times.

Mazi faced starters and backups. He was up and down as a rookie, but there were times that he blew up plays or held his ground. Lots to build on.

He is suspended the 1st 2 games, so a decision does not need to be made until then. But most likely he will be gone.

And thanks for the information. I remembered Ojulari… I just didn’t know if there was anyone behind him and Kayvon that is good off the edge.

I think Simmons was definitely worth a shot for Y’all. He hasn’t done much but a different coach and situation might can still get something out of him. He has plenty of athleticism if his instincts can just catch up. Wink will also put him in better situations than what Arizona did, IMO.

Dont know why you are so hung up on Bohanna. Our run defense didnt start becoming adequate until we got Hankins. When Bohanna was our 1T, he was closer to a liability than an asset
