***Official MEGA HOT Dez thread merge***

I don't know. I saw a team sleepwalking until some player went off on the sideline and reminded them that they were in a battle. The deer-in-headlights offense...that is the identity of this team, especially on the road.

This thing ain't going to get off the ground with Garrett at the helm and if you don't see it after today's debacle then it will become clearer as the Cowboys continue to gaffe and regurgitate games playing not to lose. Garrett took a step back today. It is not on him totally but the last two drives personify his approach in road games from the start of his tenure until today.

No, what's terrifying is the support for this losing core's nonchalance... guys who get paid millions of dollars and don't care all that much for winning.

So he gets a free pass for doing nothing in this game because he is a future Hall of Famer? You must have same oh well, we lost.. conservative attitude

Doing nothing?! Didn't he have two TD's today? That one in the second half looked like the nail in the coffin at the time.

Would"SDCowboy85, post: 5261670, member: 26765"]The first person Dez should be yelling at before anyone else is himself. One for opening his mouth about CJ, the other for not getting open like the guy he opened his mouth about.[/quote]

Would it have mattered the way Romo was throwing it for 3 quarters?

People need to make up there mind if a player should throw a temper tantrum on the sideline. Brady does it early this season and he's a jerk. Dez does it and some Cowboys fans love it and others hate it. Listen, I don't want Romo doing that. I want my QB cool. I expect a WR to get like that. I don't think that's right, though. However, I do expect my defensive players to do that. My offensive line to do that. My running backs to do that. I want those positions angry and nasty. I want my QB calm and my WR out there making plays.

Truth is, if Dez wants to yell at someone, yell at Garrett or Cally. Their coaching was awful. Yell at the defense (minus Lee and possibly Hatcher) for looking like a joke out there. Did Carr even play today or was someone else in his uniform? I know he was going against Calvin, but no one else ever let Calvin go over 300! Romo's had the 3rd best year of his career this year(2009, 2007) and this team is probably 1-6 without him. I don't blame him for this loss or the way this team's played. Poor coaching. Poor gameplanning. Poor running game. Poor defense. Basically, the only players worth their spots this year are Romo, Dez, Williams, Beasely, Harris, the OL, Hatcher, and Lee. Everyone else has underpreformed.

and once again the love / hate relationship of the instant gratification fans rears it's ugly head. dez is *still* growing up but he *has* come a long way. lets toss all that he HAS done aside and bash him now when he's NOT the one who gave up 600 yards or so. we put up hardly any pressure and when we did, just dump it off to bush. denver did that to us w/moreno and detroit did the same thing today.

megatron *was* doubled quite often but it simply didn't matter.

i think a ton of the dez bashing is 1) he's an easy target and gave people a reason to dog on him, sorta. but 2) we lost yet ANOTHER game we should have won and it was totally on our defense. so people are lashing out at anything they can cause we lost.

when dez comes back and has a great game, and you know he will, people will love him again. right now they just need something to hate.

When the people around him had on look on their face like there's a psycho on their team, something was going on that was more than trying to get the team going.

My point is the people looking at him like that are the Wares and Wittens of the team. Yes they have been great players and had big impacts - but.. they have never led the team to anything.

The real question is, why does it take a TANTRUM to get this ******* offense going?

I don't blame Dez..........the defense wasn't set, I simple quick snap of the ball and throw over to Dez would have ENDED the game and NOT allowed what took place to take place, but hey, this is the Jason Garrett era and any Cowboys fan who doesn't see something like this coming hasn't been watching us the past 3 years.

LOL, you guys keep making this into Dez trying to one up Megatron. You're a top 3 WR and your rookie teammate is getting more targets than yourself and your HOF TE. You try to rally the team and get called selfish. Funny how Dez got into Romo's face and then he produced.

Man, that was real disappointing to see from Dez Bryant. (and I am big fan of his, too) The bottom line is, even if he thought there was something different they could do in the gameplan, there is absolutely no reason to antagonize your team like that. It's called professionalism. Screaming and waving your arms wildly will not elicit a favorable response from anybody. Looks like Dez still has a lot of growing up to do.

I think it's more likely they don't expect another adult to act that way. There is a huge difference between the passion he usually shows and what happened today.

The real question is, why does it take a TANTRUM to get this ****ing offense going?
Because Romo, Witten and Ware don't care about winning or losing. They're living the high life. And you know what, they're actually right. The only thing that really matters in life is being successful, which means making money. But if that's the case, they can go be losers on the Browns. I want players like Dez on the team I root for.

It's only a matter of time before Dez becomes used to losing just like the rest of the team and becomes emotionless. The Yes-Men on this team who have "led" this team for the past 5 years will ensure it

But hey, at least they'll have Albertsons commercials

Destroyed Dez is what he did.
Yard mean nothing, points to win the have is what matters. Dez 2 TDs Calvin 1, not saying Dez is better but he has the better coach today. Plus how many times was Calvin targeted? How many times was Dez? Yea Calvin didn't destroy anything but Carr. Dez might had cover Calvin better
