It's Fish.
But we are talking about Jerry and Stephen so who knows what the truth is. I have no doubt they have talked about a trade. Even if it was just a quick question, does it make sense to trade him?
But it's funny how the same people who want to get rid of Dak, also want to trade Micah. What's with that? Philly fans? When we get a good player, an impact player like Micah, the first thought is to trade him? I thought we were trying to win a Super Bowl at some point. I don't know how that works if we trade our best players for draft picks that may or may not pan out.
I am not sure how you build a team when your philosophy is, once he gets good, trade him! And who is making the trade? What has his record been on trades in the past - not counting when Jimmy Johnson was here. This is the same guy who gave a first round pick for Amari Cooper only to trade him away for a 5th round pick. That's the guy I want making deals for me!
Of course Jerry is also the same guy that gave Dak, $60 million. But we can pay Micah $24 million next year, then franchise tag him and still pay him less than what his contract will be. So why trade him now?
And for you "the CAP is a myth" fans, if they trade Micah rather than pay him, tell me again how the CAP is a myth? If they don't pay Micah because the paid Dak it will prove once and for all how stupid this team is.
