Murray didn't get those yards in a vaccuum. You don't think having your top two offensive weapons makes a difference?

I think they would be vital to Zeke's ultimate success. Not sure where this line of argument comes from.

And replace him with whom? Wait and see if you have a replacement first.

If we sign Robinson I'd have to believe Carr would be cut to do so. Robinson would take up most of our remaining cap space. Cut Carr now and sign Robinson and we probably come out a million or 2 ahead in cap space while pushing 0 dead $ into the future. All a big if still of course. I wasn't saying cut Carr right now, just making the counter argument that he absolutely can be but cut without being designated June 1st.

The fun part will be you backing up what you say.

That's what is fun. It entertains me.

I would be very entertained to hear about how free agency is not over and who you feel would make a difference.

I already did. Do I need to break out the finger paints?

I guess your basic political deflection technique is to answer a question with another.

I don't know who is left out there. nOt everyone has signed.

The notoriously stingy Cowboys just gave an athlete I hadn't heard of $9m bucks. Hopefully there are other guys wout there the Cowboys think are worthwhile. Just like you I haven't spent thousands of hours scouting all available players. Unlike you I don't think if a player has no name recognition that he must suck.

You see the difference between us is that I know what I don't know. You pretend to know everything.

Really? I'll type slow so you can understand.

You are saying that the only reason we had success in 2014 was due to the running game. The running game was a hell of a lot more effective when we had a healthy Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. You are comparing last year's team to that which is laughable because we didn't have any of the three. The combination of not having all three was more of an issue than just not having Murray. In fact the second half of the year Murray's numbers declined...almost 400 yds less. Once McFadden got established his numbers weren't far off from Murray's despite having no passing threat. Dallas decline had more to do with the loss of Romo and Bryant than it did with the loss of Murray.

You realize that the strong side backer is the least important position on the defense right?

You do remember the likelihood is that McClain is only here for one year, and with Lee, Mcclain and Jack you have 3 three down LB's, don't you?

You don't need 3, three down linebackers, because one is going to come off the field regardless in the nickel and dime packages.

As for McClain only being here for one more year, I wouldn't say that is likely at all. If he stays out of trouble and has a similar season to what he has in the last two, I expect him to get a long term deal.

You said Zeke is elite. You pointed to 2014 and basically indicated it was due just to Murray. You want Zeke. You are arguing for him and feeling like we have to take Bosa. We don't have to take Bosa.

McClain is hard to give a long term deal to.

You assumed too much.

I pointed to 2014 being a year where the running game helped carry the team and that Zeke an elite running back could help us reproduce that. That doesn't discount the other elements of the team that made 2014 a good year.

I am arguing for him, but I do think we'll take Bosa instead, which is a bit disappointing to me.

Your argument is completely unjustified because it is complete straw man.

That is what I thought.

You lack the intellectual capacity to think beyond the moment.

Nor do you even know or take the time to see "who is left out there".

You would rather be smug about things you don't know, but when it comes down to actual knowledge of the subject matter, it becomes very clear you have no idea what you are talking about.

So you ask questions. Like you just did, hoping people get bored and ignore it.

You see the difference between us is that I know what I don't know. You pretend to know everything.

I don't pretend to know everything. You just think I do.

And when I know more than you, it makes you lash out.

Sorry for that.

Cut Carr only when you must. But if you meant at some point then I'm still ambivalent. Carr is like Free and gets little respect but he's respectable and at times even good IF you use him correctly. He's a physical CB who needs cover. He plays some opponents very well. He's definitely not my favorite player but he has his niche.

A niche player doesn't make $14MM a year. He's a league average CB. That's it.

It will be a travesty if he's on this roster come September with a $14MM cap hit.

If we draft Myles Jack Marinelli will adjust his scheme accordingly. He isn't going to take Sean Lee off the field to put a guy like Terrence Mitchell in his place, he is going to come up with a unique way to attack offenses with 3 LBs that can all cover, blitz and play the run as well.

We were talking talent. It's painfully obvious, and has been for some time, that the guy was monstrously overpaid. That's a separate issue and one I won't conflate with his talents. He's here and will cost 7 or 13+M this year. If you cut him then without looking you have to deal with the dead space 2017 and 2018.

The real question, esp if you think you can contend, is do you have the DBs to do it esp with our present sorry pass rush.

No. it's impossible. You cannot have three good LB's at once. Makes no sense. Would be the dumbest idea ever in the concept of football.
