I would say that this is a question that you should ask Pappy. I'm not going to judge him, as to why he feels as he does. That's just flat out wrong. Conversely, I've been accused of many, many egregious things, simply because I believe in being fiscally responsible. I don't like that feeling and I don't like the practice.

The question here is not if there is a difference between that poster and I, or if I can see it. The question is, who, why and for what reason do you make these claims?

ABQ, the difference between you and Pappy is that you give actual reasons for your opinions, and recognize them as opinions. That seems to be something Pappy doesn't do, from what I've seen. He spouts his opinion, usually in venomous fashion.

This is way deeper than I wanted to go by posting a brinks truck photo joke. If you're offended, I apologize. It wasn't directed at you, you just happened to ask a question in response to my photo.

I made the "claim" because it is true and I stand by it. It doesn't matter how much Dak gets paid, he's still going to be a hated player by a good portion of the fan base just like he is already. If that statement bothers you, then you're just going to have to deal with it. He's got haters as does a good number of other players on the team, too.

Pappy cares as Pappy wants another Superbowl Title in Big D.
Paying Dak all those millions will cost us team-wise as we will lose talented players such as Byron and Quinn etc.
Dak Prescott cannot carry the team with his arm and needs millions of Cap $ around him.
As far as your hate comments that's your world bud and GL with it.

Dak and Garrett are tied together. If you extend one, you have to extend the other.
Dak is Garrett's guy. He might not be a real head coach's idea of what is needed.
He's pretty good in the Cowboys current system. Not elite, but good enough to beat the "also rans" in the league.
He isn't worth keeping Garrett. But I doubt Garrett will be fired until someone else owns the Cowboys.
Better get used to "Wait till next year!"

I believe Aaron Rodgers fits that bill, although this stat goes back only 7 years, but he got a record deal in that time frame...

Every pass is rarely on TARGET and the phrase we keep reading here is as follows....."It was a catchable pass"....this will go down as Daks legacy before he is shipped to the bench....

I'm not offended by that. I'm just trying to make that very point. This does tend to go way deeper and my experience in these matters, which is significant, tends to follow a very familiar path. Suffice to say that no good comes of it. I don't have a problem with anybody having an opinion. I don't have a problem with anybody expressing one, right or wrong. I just hate to see threads or posters go down a road that I know leads to trouble. That's really all I'm trying to say here. My message to you is, don't let this become more then opinion. Don't let innuendo start writing checks your backside has to cash because it never ends well. Take that for what you wish. End of day, you are going to do whatever you decide to do and the results will take their course.

I had no problem at all, took me like two minutes, an there are other articles that report the same thing. Now, if you have an issue with that article, then prove it wrong. That's on you, not me. I've posted a source for what you asked for. The problem here is you, it's not the info.

I don't share this opinion. I definitely think there are other QBs who are more accurate throwing certain routes but I would not say that he is rarely on target. I think he throws certain routes very well.

That's just my opinion.

Only when he has mucho time back there and only certain passes as his range of throws is limited due to his numerous flaws.

P.S. Don't let these Dak bullies sway you from what your commen sense is telling you. Dak will never be a top 10 QB just a glorified Bus Driver and that is best case scenario.....
 
Dak Prescott has now started every game for three full seasons and the first seven games of the current season.

At this exact same point in his career, Tony Romo had just completed his first start.

I'm not bagging on Romo, I just wanted to point out that Romo obviously improved enough to go from a guy that was inactive his first season to a Pro Bowler after his first season as a starter. He then improved from that point to get even better.

Why do some of us think that Dak has reached his cielng? I can assure you he has not. Dak will get even better.

Hey Corso, how you doing? Thanks for answering this. I think it's interesting that Rodgers doesn't have a winning record and he's actually a really good example, IMO. If I'm not mistaken, Rodgers got the new contract in 2013? He then got another in 2018? It would be interesting to look at what his record was prior to and compare it to what he has done since. He's actually a perfect example of why I think you shouldn't make Dak the highest paid QB in the NFL. As talented as Rodgers is, and he is about as talented as they come, he can't win without a team around him and his contract is the driver in why Green Bay has not won since 2010 and actually significantly declined in the last few years.
