That is just depressing. But it makes total sense. If you remember back earlier this season when we were winning one of the teams coaches said something like "scouting the cowboys offense is very easy, it's just hard to stop them". That is what he means by standing by the teams convictions. You don't do anything tricky, you out talent and execute them.

The problem is that it requires everything to work and doesn't cover for any weaknesses. It's why we don't pick, or do bunch formations. We are men who win 1-1 to earn our yards. You can see for yourself how that ebbs and flows with our talent and what happens when someone hits a slump.

That was the Denver HC during his PC. He said "They run a simple scheme but they run it very well".
The rookie HC showed us how simple it was by spanking us both on offense and defense.

Maybe the system fit Romo but doesn’t fit Dak? Hall of famer Chris carter constantly says nfl players are all about systems and being a system player isn’t a bad thing.
What system suits an inaccurate quarterback who can't throw from the pocket and prefers to dink and dunk?

Dak needs development as a pro QB of he's gong to run a pro offense.

Actually, I've been complaining about his coaching a few years after he became head coach. I thought he may of turned the corner when 12-4 happened, then 4-12 happened the following year. I didn't expect much, then 13-3 happened, and so I thought he actually may have learned something. But once again fool's gold happened in the playoffs and it was one and done. I was also upset that he kept Dak as starter when Romo should've returned and explained my point several times last year which doesn't need to be reiterated here. This season is on the verge of collapse, with the past three games one of the worst displays of offense in Cowboys history. He hasn't even put back to back winning seasons. I have no agenda. I wanted him to succeed. But he doesn't learn and seems to provide little to nothing.
Yet he's only had 1 losing season in 10 years. Which included going through a rebuild.

This is stupid, Dak isnt Newton athletically, nor can he throw the ball down the field like Newton. Start doing what Cam's doing, and he'll be on the sidelines. Plus he doesn't have the defense Cam has.

All wins and losses aren’t equal. I’m not going to go into it any deeper Jed Garrett. Protect your brother at all costs.

You can't, this is your cop out. School has ended. Ding ding

This was exactly the same in the 90's. Easy to scout, just couldn't stop it. You heard of players telling opponents where the play is going and they still couldn't stop it.
Scheme is far down on the list for any team, execution is the main components to being successful. It's why New England can run many schemes and they work because their execution is near flawless with their HOF qb. it also why many college schemes work now, easy, there easy to scout, but also easy to execute.
