Put him in and lets see what he's got.

At the very least it'll be entertaining.

Brandon Weeden was the best Cowboys QB this season. He had a 92 QBR, whereas Romo was only at 79, and Cassel is worse. Weeden also led the team in yards per completion, and all this with no running game and no Dez Bryant.

Uh-huh. Would these be the rankings that currently have Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tyrod Taylor ranked ahead of Tom Brady and Cam Newton?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr

TWWL's QBR system is utter nonsense.

Honestly, I'm not one that's normally prone to throwing any backup out there just to see what would happen, but if you think the guy can play, I'd bring him up and give him a shot as soon s Cassel struggles this week. Just like we did with Romo and Bledsoe back in the day. If Cassel can beat the Commanders on his own, great. But if we're struggling to put up points, yank him and give us something to root for for the next 5 weeks.

Cassell struggles getting on the bus.

Man, I cannot believe how............inept the dude is.

I feel for Linehan. I mean, what do you call when you're in his position?

1st and ten..................punt.

So you feel for Linehan, who continues with the same player that is inept?

I never feel sorry for anyone that causes their own failures and then continues to repeat them.

Linehan didn't put this roster together.

Linehan didn't put this roster together.

That is not the point. They are still hell bent that Cassel is their best option.

Linehan should know exactly what Moore is. And in a way, if he were not the OC, Moore would not be here.

I don't feel sorry for him or anyone else on the staff for that matter. They all have bloody hands on this QB mess, to varying degrees.

The Cowboys aren't going to start Moore on a short(er) week.

If it happens it will be after Saturday night's game.

It's rough in the NFL when you don't have a QB.

I'd have pulled Cassel at halftime this week. I know it was raining, but he wasn't able to do anything out there at all. There's no way to win a game when you can't throw the football.

Yeah. Like he makes that call.

Money says after the second play with Cassell, he was hoping to move on.

I don't think Moore can play at all either. But again, in a lost season, there are only so many opportunities to play live football. Even Landry played Kevin Sweeney and Reggie Collier when things were rock bottom.

If the staff thinks Moore is an inferior option to Cassel, he must look lousy in practices they witness every day.

But then again, what does that prove? They speaking about Bryant making incredible catches every day and he shows up small. They talk about Randy Gregory tearing it up and he does not have a lot of impact in live action. I think they might have a real problem in how they practice, honestly.

Defenses know he can't run and he can't throw.

Easy week in the film room.

Dez also needs to sit next to Cassel on the bench
.....then JWitten should sit too, so Escobar can play.....play all the young guys. Dez should sit so neither QB gets him killed.

At this point, why not? Win win for the franchise.

If he plays well and we get some wins, it gives you an option at QB. If he stinks, we lose out and get a Top 10 pick.

Where's all this talk of Moore having a weak arm coming from?

That was a bomb. There are quite a few other videos on youtube showing him throwing some long bombs and medium throws with some zip.

I've watched some video of Moore and, like you, can't find evidence of a "noodle arm". I think there are some people who just want to appear knowledgable about a player but don't really know anything. They just repeat what someone else said, assuming it's true.

Do not make Garrett execute his HermEdwardsyouplaytowinthegame.exe file.

IMO Cassel is regressing from earlier in the season. They said he would be better with more exposure to the O, but he has gotten worse!

That's scary.

Should they put in Moore to replace Cassel? Yes. Will they? No. Not while they still have a mathematical chance for the division.

BTW, I hear that while Moore is accurate, he has no arm.

Do you believe the offensive coordinator in Dallas determines who starts at QB?

Tell me you don't believe that.
