Fuzzy, you probably think OJ was innocent, or got a raw deal, right?

OJ is a murderer and spent no jail time because of it. I am very much into HUMAN rights.

As i stated before when we kill cows for breeding pruposes we call it culling but when you kill dogs for breeding purposes its all of a sudden murder.

No it is not murder it is cruelty to animals and there is a bit of a difference of taking a domesticated animal and having the rip each other apart and raising cattle as part of the nation’s food supply.

Not to be political, but how about when a "pit-bull" attacks a child, kills the child, and is later put to death...... or how about bull fighting, cow roping (and a cow is accidentally strangled), etc....

Falcons are suing him for like 29 million of his bonus money back

and when he gets out of prison he will be 29 and then subject to league suspension. I dunno if he ever makes it back to the NFL

I had no idea about the 29 million he was getting sued for, do you think the falcons will get all of it back? It seems unlikely.

Still, my point is no one should feel bad for this guy, he got off.

I still believe he will have another stint in the league, just my two cents.

I don't know if he got off, he is still facing state charges set for April 2nd and he was given the same type of sentence as anyone else would have. Granted he may have a high paying job to go to when all is said and done but that has nothing to do with the justice system.

I despise those that get off because of money or someone's stupid sympathy.
OJ maybe the worst example of what is wrong with our so called justice system, but he is far from alone. So it would not suprise me that VIck could weasle out of serving the whole sentence. I doubt it in this case since there would be so much ruckus.

And how about if you just make up things that didnt happen. Thats akin to saying that I should be arrested because i own a gun and i could shoot someone with it.

Oh and stock contractors can kiss my backside. Scaring the crap out of an infant and chasing it down and tying it up is not cool no matter how well you feed it afterwards.

ahh another one of those that wills things to happen.

last time i checked he was smoking pot while he was undergoing drug testing. Most people without an axe to grind would see that as a problem involving drugs.

Lets be quite frank here. This is Mike Vick we are talking about who grew up in a seedy part of VA and was actively participating in illegal activities, he was found in the airport with a waterbottle designed to smuggle things, his brother was a notorious pothead, and he has a positive drug test.

Yet somehow you guys come to the conclusion that he hasnt been smoking weed for the majority of his life. You guys are awesome.

Let me get this stright...

So, Vick has been smoking weed for a long time, according to you, right?

Vick participates in criminal activity, right?

Vick barehanded killed dogs, right?

With me so far, fuzzy?

Now, are you telling me all those traits are someone that YOU defend to the fullest? This is the kind of person that you think is getting a raw deal? This is an upstanding citizen that should catch a break?

:lmao2:

Poor Ookie, he is such victim here...why any body be picking on poor Ookie.

Amazing, simply amazing....

Carry on!

(oh, fuzzy, is Antonio Bryant "in" the NFL? a simple yes or no will suffice)

:lmao2:

I don't think the judge bought into Vicks song and dance:

Vick said he accepted responsibility for his actions, but U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson said he wasn't so sure.

"I'm not convinced you've fully accepted responsibility," Hudson told Vick, who arrived in court wearing the black-and-white striped prison uniform he was issued when he voluntarily surrendered Nov. 19 to begin serving his sentence early.

Despite the early surrender, a public apology and participation in an animal sensitivity training course, Vick was denied an "acceptance of responsibility" credit that would have reduced his sentence. Federal prosecutors opposed awarding Vick the credit.

I dont feel bad for him at all.

As for the money no idea. Evidently it was in the contract language that he would have to pay back the bonus money so it is up to the courts I guess

Im not defending Vick as much as im attacking peoples punitive nature. The sanctimonious crap I hear all the time sickens me. Well that and quite frankly i dont think dogfighting should be illegal with all the other animal cruelty we let go.

I cold care less if Vick wants to get baked and fight dogs all day long. To each his own and his property and his life he can do with what he wants.

Exactly! Now I will admit what Mike did was wrong and I don't condone it, but don't come after the guy (PETA), just because he's in the lime light and you want to "posterize" him....Once he beats this or if he gets out, they will protest but how long will it actually last?? Eventually it all goes away.

His civil liberties are being violated because we have state and fed law that punish people who commit animal cruelty? How are his rights being violated? You don't think what he did was wrong vast majority do and thus laws were created.

i welcome you to go and read the CBA and read what it considers a player. once you are placed on an NFL roster and as long as you are at least seeking a contract you are a part of the NFL.

Bryant is still subject to all the rules and regulations of the NFL.

Youre still wrong so deal with it.
