Our Idiot Brother - 7/10.

Decently funny movie, but nothing memorable. I liked it better than Paul, but not as good as the comedies that have been released recently.

FYI, saw the previews for the new Ben Stiller/Eddie Murphy movie, and am interested in seeing it.

Star trek - 4/10
full disclosure it's the first piece of star trek anything I've watched. This was boring and I didn't know wth they were talking about half the time. And I couldn't see anything w/ all the lens flares

Dont be afraid of the Dark

7/10

Interesting story. My wife thought it was scary, only made me jump once though.

Is that the Katie Holmes movie?

Watched A Knights Tale again yesterday. I give it 5 of 5 stars, but I must admit there are two scenes I always fast forward through.

When he first meets the girl and follows her through the city and into the church. Then again when he meets her in the other church. I guess you could say the real chick flick parts of the movie.

What makes the movie great is it's a feel good story and it has a kick *** sound track.

No, that's "Don't be afraid of Scientology."

I think Katie Holmes is afraid of Scientology, but she is just more afraid of Tom Cruise.

6/10 predictable but did a good job of conveying a sense of dread.

Fritt Vilt (Cold Prey)

5/10. Slasher film, so it was what it was. I will probably watch II and III.

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil - 6.5/10. Not as funny as I'd hoped, but a decent watch none the less.

Warrior - 7/10

Well acted and only a few "That doesn't happen." moments in the fighting scenes. Every bit as good as "The Fighter", but I don't know that it'll get recognized the same way.

Warrior - 9/10

Best movie I've seen all year. Better than The Fighter, I believe. This deserves Oscar consideration. I would have given it 10/10 if it wasn't SO heavy handed, but even so, I still fell for it. Hardy may be my current favorite working actor.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes 3/10

I hated the camera work, got headache.

Characters were one dimensional, research aspect unrealistic (ever heard of IACUC?), animal care awful (where is the vet? The animal handler sucks, and the "slop" is something only the movies can dream up).

Awful, totally awful. Even John Lithgow couldn't save this movie.
