The Boogie Man - The Lee Atwater Story
8/10

Very good documentary about a very influential player in the American Politics.

Robin Hood - 7/10

It was really good. I don't understand the bad reviews. But I was glad for them because I went in with very low expectations. It's exactly what you should expect out of Ridley Scott/Russell Crowe epic period movie.

I think every Russell Crowe movie I've seen was in the very least very good. I own the remake of Quick and the Dead with him and it's easily one of my all-time favorite Westerns.

I will see Robin Hood at some point.

Speaking of, Prince of Persia looks fun, but it also looks like it could end up being stupid too.

Get him to the Greek: 6/10. It was okay I guess, a few good laughs in there, but nothing great. I'd say it's easily the worst of the Apatow universe. Not horrible though. I suppose your enjoyment might depend a lot on how you feel about Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. Personally I find them more obnoxious than funny.

Jake Gyllenhaal = Prince of Persia
Tom Cruise = The Last Samurai.
Tom Hanks = (Those who watched Dave Chappel know what line to insert here)

Iron Man 2: Not bad. Give it a 7.5 out of 10.

The real question is how many of you stayed to the very, very end after the credits to find out why Stark's buddy left to go to New Mexico?

Yeah, there was one more scene.

I stayed to watch, but it was leaked online a good while before movie the movie was released.

The Stoning of Soraya M
No, it's NOT a California surfing movie
A true story of a Iranian woman accused of infidelity
Some scenes of horrific violence
This movie will stay with me for a LONG while
8.5/10

Yep. I knew about it from here, had a friend who told me what it was about, and still stayed to see it. Man, those credits are long. First that I can remember actually staying through. They even give individual credit to the plaster guys???

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs - 8/10

Genuinely funny, visually impressive and well paced.

The Lovely Bones

Really wierd ghost story about a murdered 14 year girl and her attempts from the after life to do...Nothing particulary important.

4/10

:(

I liked it too. Thought I wouldn't but watched it on a pane one trip and thought it was both fun and funny.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame - w/Charles Laughton. 8/10 Never seen it, not nearly as tragic of the book, many plot lines had to be revised to comply with the Hays code. Great old-style B&W
Sherlock Holmes - fun but bubblegum 7/10
Fear Strikes Out - The story of Jimmy Piersoll (sp) the Boston Red Sox who suffers a mental breakdown. Anthony Perkins is perfectly cast, but they should have taught him jow to throw a baseball 7/10
The Lion in Winter - O'Toole, Hepburn and Hopkins, how could it not be great? 9/10
Diner - I was really looking forward to seeing this movie but I couldn't connect to any of the characters. EVERYBODY loves this movie but me, has a great soundtrack 4/10

how to train your dragon was actually pretty good other than the random accents. all the vikings had scottish accents other than the lead who for no particular reason was american.

Il Postino - a shy mailman meets a world famous poet who helps him get the girl. 9/10 If you can handle foreign films, get your lady, a bottle of wine and snuggle on the couch, you'll thank me later.

Prince of Persia - 7/10

It was what I expected it to be. I liked it but just barely, and I wasn't expecting much. Luckily the acting isn't terrible or it would have been an absolute bomb cause the story line is pretty damn flimsy.

Gemma Arterton looks super hot with dark hair and a tan, way better than she looked in Quantum of Solace.

Some of the editing was pretty confusing, and they don't do much in the way of seasoning the characters but it wasn't as bad as it could have been, that's for sure.

If you've played the game you know the prince is witty and extremely sarcastic, I don't think they played that up nearly enough.
