Ravens tried to get Cowboys to trade down

Glad we're morons. The 2nd best RB in the draft is still on the board in the 2nd round. and we took one at 4 overall. W T ACTUAL F.

Yeah, you know better than Casserley, Polian, and McClay.

Lol, that's funny.

They just said in the presser that they had an okay offer for 4, but the GM--who si friends with Steven--said the offer was for sure for Zeke, not Ramsey.

Tunsil's twitter account posted a picture of him with a gas mask on with a bong literally mid-draft.

Worse than that. 15 minutes before the draft. A clear sabotage move by some scumbag looking to destroy his stock. It cost him millions.

Both Morris and McFadden will still have a role on the team. The one that might be on the outs will be Dunbar but he does play ST so we will see.

Morris is the perfect back to spell Zeke for a series or two to keep him fresh for the 4th quarter and the season.

I don't agree. Morris did not like nor thrive in a backup role last year. He's a back that needs to find his rhythm. He can't do that with a handful of touches a game.

There isn't a player in this draft who can phase out Lance Dunbar.

No one was trading up for a rb, stop it. Cowboys are the only goofy franchise drafting one that high.

idiotic conjecture and you need to "stop it" u guys who act like you know are waste fluff!
It is quite possible E.E. was the target of a trade up so stop flappin youre lips like blades of grass in the wind w that bs, u dont know a friggin thing about who was or wasnt going to trade up or not so why ACT like you do?

most of nfl history rbs were drafted high and coveted dorsett, sanders, tomlinson, Peterson, lynch I remember watching these fools pass on steven jackson for supposed "value" in Julius Jones, very few of those late round running backs are truly great, mostly flashes like priest holmes

you don't think they were worried about other teams trading with Jacksonville to get ahead of us at #6? that is why they didnt trade down and wouldnt trade down with anyone

Yeah rumor has it that Miami was looking to trade up for zeke, I think they would have pulled the trigger with Jacksonville to get him. Good call. What good is a third when it makes you not get the guy you really wanted in the first.

Seems like a waste to not take the extra pick regardless of what it was. This team wastes a lot of draft picks. Elliott at 6 was highly likely to be there for them.

Pay attention. The Ravens were wanting to trade with us to take Elliott. How in the hell would he have been there at 6 if they took him at 4?

Posts go in order of when they were posted. I read the Elliott remark after the initial trade report.

Go Cowboys, bro.

Word is that Ravens wanted Ramsey, but there's enough subterfuge going around that maybe they were wanting Zeke.

I feel like I am in a dream with Zeke. Never thought we'd take him after signing Morris. Getting him is like your dad taking you to buy a used car for your birthday and the salesman drives around the corner with a brand new mustang or camaro.

I knew the Morris signing wasn't going to stop us from drafting Zeke. I mean, cmon on. Morris vs. Zeke. Pulease.
