Peo who need peo are the luckiest peo in the world.
3.3 per carry isn't a backup. That's NFL Europe type stuff.
Well it is Oakland....

Instead of going after peterson or spending a first round pick on a rb, why isn't Ray Rice a good football option? he's only 28, he can run btw the tackles, pass block and catch out of the backfield and can probably be had for less years (like 1 year), less guaranteed (like veteran's minimum) and less risk than a drafted rookie running back.
So the only thing I can see people having apprehension with is the domestic violence issue. But as far as a team that had enough faith to keep josh brent and sign greg hardy, it seems like a moot point to me. Unless it's too much baggage to handle? thoughts?
Kinda shocked at some of the responses. He had 1500 all purpose yards the year before, from what I understand, played through a hip/quad injury. He's had a year to heal up, you don't think he's worth a looksie on a cheap contract? But most of you would rather spend a first round pick a rookie rb coming off an ACL tear? Or eat Peterson's monster salary that will likely cost picks?
Really?

You are shocked that we don't want another player with a history of violence against women?

It would appear that rice has a better "stiff arm", can knock people out with itThis is true but we have people excited about a 3.3 yards per carry failure in Oakland. Surely we can spin something for Rice too.
Didn't seem to effect their other back.
Round and round we go. I refuse to make nonsense excuses for 3.3 per carry.
No, it was really directed for those who felt rice had nothing left to offer. If you don't want him based on principle, that's your prerogative
It did effect their other back. Latavius Murray's production was poor once he was made the starter. It is one thing being the back up and not having to carry the load. It is another being the main guy. Oakland running game did not fair well with either McFadden or Murray as the starting running back.
TK ... let's really save some money and try to sign OJ. All it would take is a pack of Kools and a conjugal visit.
But McFadden was the least productive.
I can't believe I have to actually defend not wanting a 3.3 yards per carry bust. If I suggested this move in January it would be universally panned.
There is film of him slugging a woman ....... have all Cowboy fans lost their mind? No wonder every other fan base hates us.

One time doesn't equal history of violence. No need to stretch the truth to get a point across. You are shocked that we don't want another player with a history of violence against women?
