I'm more ticked that he teased this whole rumor as something new. Its just rehashing and Hall is a great physical talent but is nowhere near the player that Newman is at this point in his career.

Possibly, possibly. Again I don't think this has any shot of happening, just like I didn't 2 weeks ago or whenever, but Im of the thinking that with a better team around him, and we're obviously a better defense in every aspect than Atlanta, that he might not feel the need to gamble as much.

But that is just a speculation on my part.

Ya..Its basically Trade for Hall this year or re-do Newman's contract next year. We don't have room for both.

Oh yeah, I didn't put that in my post but I'm with you on that. The thing with drafting players is you have them for four years at a cheap rate.(at least with the lower firsts) Hall and Williams are going to cost the kind of outrageous money these free agents are signing for and we still have Newman to sign and Ware not that far down the road either.(Barber, Canty, and Hamlin too)
